If I could give a lower rating I would. I'm so disappointed that Rooms to Go does not stand behind their products. I bought a whole living room set with a power recliner in Aug 2022. At approximately 20 months old, the motor went out on the chair. After being told that it wasn't under warranty (I understood this as I didn't buy the extended warranty and it was only covered for one year) that I could buy the part to fix it. I was told when I ordered the part that it could take up to 90 days if it wasn't in stock. After the first month (May 2024) I called to check up and was told that it wasn't ordered and they would order it today, even though the cost was taken off my credit card on April 12. They could not explain the first missing 30 days (Strike One). Within the 3 months from May to Aug 2024 I inquired, no short of 6 TIMES, to be reassured by 6 different people in Customer care that the part was definitely ordered, and it could take the whole 90 days!!!! OK, so the 90 days was up on Aug 14 and on that day I was told that the part was NEVER ODERED and was on the DO NOT ORDER LIST. Imagine my frustration as this is completely different than what I had been told by no less than 6 different people. (Strike two) So how do they plan to remedy this situation as I have a chair in my living room that has not been able to be used for over 4 months now? They offered a refund for the cost of the part!!!! (Strike three!!) I recommended an exchange for a manual chair or at least a partial refund for the cost of the chair $1000 as it is a beautiful power recliner with no flaws....except a blown motor. My suggestions fell on deaf ears with quite a few obnoxious replies from management??? I will never do business with Rooms to Go again, and I will make sure my friends know of this review. Read moreIf you are considering purchasing anything from this company I would recommend you go to any other Furniture Company in the world. My family and I are having a terrible experience with rooms to go. My wife purchased a new living room for us, and the dining room for our son as a wedding present. Even though the order was written up as two separate orders to assure they were delivered to the right places, my living room was delivered to my son's house. When I called the customer care number the woman was rude. I called the store and spoke with a manager who did apologize and told me it would be corrected. I told her to not contact me via automated text message if you need any more information call me. She did call me and confirmed that it would be delivered on friday. Thursday evening I started getting Auto generated text messages. When I replied stop the messages did not stop. On Friday when I replied stop again to the Third message, I received a message back saying but we need to communicate with you in case our driver has a problem finding your address. So the automated message told me it couldn't stop sending messages. I called the customer service number and again received a rude incompetent person. When I asked to speak with her supervisor she started yelling at me. So I yelled back. I got the supervisor who did Apologize, and then acted in a condescending manner when I asked to be assured that I would not receive any more text messages from a robot.
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the furniture to be delivered. Oh by the way, my son didn't receive all the chairs that he had ordered. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere when you purchase. Had I been able to rate them lower than one star...
Read moreSo my story starts last weekend when my boyfriend and I walked into rooms to go. Since rooms to go has financing options we knew this would be the best way to get a bed right away. Upon our entrance into the store we were greeted by Philip who was so nice and very accommodating to our needs. He asked us what kind of firmness we wanted for the bed and then proceeded to show us the options they had. He gave us great details about each bed and then went over pricing and payment options available to us. We took his card, and pictures of the beds, then went home to figure out what we wanted to do. During the week I went online to apply for the financing which literally took less then 15 minutes to fill out. The next weekend we headed back to the store (to find Philip) so we could proceed with our purchase. Philip wrote out the order and set us up with the delivery details, then turned us over to Fred who finished up the financing. Fred set up the payment plan and went over other questions we had which took another 15 minutes. So within 30 minutes of waking in the store we were on our way out with everything ready for our new bed.
I really cannot say enough about how quick this whole process was and how friendly the staff is. Based on my life experiences with sales people I really haven't had great service like I did at rooms to go. We for sure will be returning wherever we need new furniture for our house.
If you are in the market for furniture you should start your search at rooms to go because they not only have a lot of options but the process is quick and the staff are the best.
