In the beginning five years ago we were and stress the word were very happy with our sleep number i8. Today not so happy with the bed and the customer service. Long story short we moved to a different state and as recommended to us to keep the warranty we hired from sleep number and paid for the taking down at the old home and putting up the bed at our new home. Since that time our backs have been horrible. We did everything sleep number said to do and adjusting the air etc. etc. we went back home to visit (original state) for a month and slept in different beds and realized our backs were not hurting. Upon arrival back home within three days our backs are killing us again. That led us to believe that it’s the bed and not the air adjustment. Something must’ve happened to the bed in the take down, rolling up, laying back out of the twin beds ( making a split king) That’s the only explanation that we have as everything was fine before sleep number took it down and put it back up. Now they want us to pay for a new foam topper & pay for the air mattress chamber part, and after spending over $7000 on that bed 5 years ago with a 25 yr. warranty and doing everything that they told us to do we feel that is just not standing by their product. We did not cause this and find it quite a coincidence that after ‘their’ take down and put up we are having lots of back pain. We are extremely unsatisfied with sleep number and getting shuffled around from person to person, waiting on line forever to talk to someone, explaining it over and over to deaf ears. Read moreWe’ve had a long road from purchase to delivery because of a health issue, but our salesperson Nelson, who was INCREDIBLE in the store helping us pick out the exact bed that was perfect for us! When we had to postpone, he helped us seamlessly change the delivery date! Our Climate 360 smart bed arrived today. I MUST say that the first 3 hours of the delivery was a disaster in several ways because of confusion with a last name and the improper way the truck was loaded, but with Nelson’s & store manager Gary’s help we got through the mess (which was not the store’s fault at all) and once the “mistakes” by the delivery company were smoothed out, I must say that the guys who came, Warren and Eric, once they figured things out were amazing! The bed setup was flawless and then Warren spent a lot of time making sure we knew how the bed worked and how to use the Sleep Number app on our phone. Tonight will be our first night on this wonderful bed and I cannot wait! She promptly gave us the customer service number so we could call and get the answers that we were looking for. In the meantime, I asked about the President Days sale that was going on. She answered all the questions that we had and was very knowledgeable about the bed and the company. Very pleasant young lady. WE went home and called the customer service department and got the answer that we were looking for. We decided to go a different route and went back to the store the next day and purchased the bed that we looked at the day before. The sales transaction went very smoothly and the arrangements for the delivery of the new bed was great. Very personable sales person.
