Unfortunately we had a very negative experience at the Carabba's in Ocean City Maryland. We sat at the bar for a few minutes because our call ahead seating was not ready. It was a busy night, so we get it. The bartender pretty much ignored us the entire time. The bar was not even half full at the time! So we never got a drink. By the time we were seated, there were two bartenders there. Of course, we get seated in her station! Right near the bar, as she served us with hostility. The manager came around and she seemed just as aloof as the wait staff. She proceeded to bring our food to other customers. Set it in front of them, then picked it up realizing she gave it to the wrong customers. We were trying to get her attention, before she set the food down. However, we must have been invisible because we just could not get her attention. When the bartender would pass our table, she would give us refills on our drinks, by just slamming them down on the table. Didnt say a word, just passed by and (not exaggerating) slammed down my diet coke refill. She was being proactive, but why the hostility? The food of course was basically Carabba's typical. Always yummy, but I will say even that has changed. My husband's chicken parm was hammered out so thin, all the edges were burnt and dried out. We will definitely not be visiting this particular Carabba's ever again. Poor management, poor service, not a smile in sight. No thanks.
My friends and I had a day trip to the area⊠heard wonderful things about Carrabbaâs until I actually step foot inside this location. First to start there was nothing on the menu I wanted. Nothing looked appealing. Asked waiter for the kids menuâŠnothing interested me. My friend ordered soup and shrimp Alfredo for 18 dollars they gave her 5 pieces of shrimp (Olive Garden gives more than 5)!! She was disappointed and had the waiter take it back.. The waiter then went over to the girl manger and told her and I literally heard the whole conversation. The manager walks up and takes the dish back per my friendâs request. My other friend had the calamari appetizer she was dissatisfied⊠the calamari was under cooked, and you she got 4 mozzarella sticks (typically you get 8 at a restaurant)⊠The waiter then brings there checks .. doesnât ask if they want there order or different bills. Just puts them on one check. My friend lets her know itâs 2 checks (typically waiters ask how you want your check) . She then comes back to the table with an attitude and literally was talking about us to her coworkers!! To the point she didnât even bring the check back to sign she had another person do it.. I will never step foot inside this restaurant again! Very disappointed. Tip of the day customer service is EVERYTHING in a restaurant! From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave. If I could I could this restaurant would get a 0
So Me and My Fiancée have Eaten at Carrabba's many times and the Food is Excellent. We have had three different people wait on us one gentleman and two women and they were okay But then we were Taken Care Of By Leslie. Leslie Should be The Ownwer of Carraba's because Leslie Is A BOSS!!! Listen every other wait staff is Pale in Comparison To Leslie. We've been getting bread with seasonings with olive oil,Sausage gentleman and Chicken Noodle Soup with the Signature Salad And Noone Ever Said Hold On Let Me Ask My Manager To get U guys Unlimited Soup And Salad But Leslie Did...Not One Wait Staff bought our Next Bread Out Before We Asked For It... Not One Wait Staff Had Our Next Drink Before We Asked For It But Leslie Did!!! Leslie was Right There Before We Finished Our Soup and Salad To Get Us MORE... Noone Else Got Our Soup And Salad And Bread To Go AND...AND Packed Them In Our To Go Bag But Leslie Did!!! Here Is The Kicker People We Have been getting Soup,Salad And Bread and have been paying around 41.00 Sometimes adding Parmisean Fries or Garlic Spinach But We Ate Unlimited Soup,Salad and Bread for $21.18 Ask For Leslie Tell Her Marcus & Mary Said Hi. Hey Carrabba's Make Leslie The Model For 5 Star Service At All Carrabba's And Promote Leslie To Part Owner!!!
