I try not to write negative reviews, but I had to on this one. My family and I went to King Kone last night at the 143rd street location in OCMD. We are vacationing this week and decided we wanted ice cream. Since we've been to King Kone in the past, we decided to go there again.
We walked into the store and there were no other customers. We were not greeted with a hello. Instead, the four or five teenagers working there were all giggling and on their cell phones. They had the music so loud that I couldn't talk to my father who was with me. We were ordering for four people. I felt like an inconvenience. This is so upsetting considering all the other times we visited King Kone we had good experiences.
Oh, and by the way, after the kids were on their phones, they did not wash their hands. I guess we will need to try another...

Portion sizes are really just right, with a small actually being small enough to be just a scoop of ice cream with whatever toppings you choose.
