So.... when we walked in for a table for 2, the staff asked if we had reservations. We said no & noticed that there were 4 people at the bar & 4 people at a table. No one else seated anywhere. They studied their reservation book & then suggested that we could sit at the bar. We accepted. We ordered water & looked at their smaller collection of wines.
Ordered a bottle of wine along with the MD Crab soup. The soup had lots of depth and creamy flavor. Loads of crab!! It's crab soup for goodness sake.... it must have lots of crab! Delicious! I got the branzino fish. Great flavorful fish, but my beans were ice cold and the potatoes were not much better. But the fish was awesome! The crab imperial entree was thick, rich, creamy with a hint of a brine crab deliciousness. We took a breather & ordered dessert which consisted of a cinnamon roll with a bourbon, Carmel & bacon salty sauce with vanilla ice cream. Very good! By the way .... on our way out.... they had plenty of seating to hold at least 20 people from when we sat for...
Read moreFood and drinks we good. Place is oddly set up. Matt was very kind and helpful as we looked so perplexed. You have to place your order thru a kiosk and than sit yourselves. The server will bring you your drinks and food.
The environment wasnt bad, just not what we expected. For the food and drinks for 2 people we spent 90$! My husband got a crabcake sandwich, and I got the New england lobster roll. I did have a pina colada, which for the size of it was a great price. And than our food came in take out container. For 90$ we felt like we shouldve been eating off of real plates and drinking from real glasses.
I dont know whether they are doing the to go products because of lack of staff, but needless to say probably wouldnt return due to the fact of the outrageous pricing for what we got. Again, the food and stuff was good, just not 90$ good to come back and eat from a to go box and basically take our own order and clean up after ourselves. And than also having to tip the “server”, which is...
Read moreUpdated: still really cute thoughtful restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was priced better than last year. And all of our food was excellent! Good portion sizes. A must visit for lunch or dinner. The lobster rolls are awesome and the lobster Mac and cheese is to die for! And don't forget dessert! We even left with an antique tea pot that they were selling.
Really cute place. The lobster rolls signs brought us in. And they were very good, loaded! with lobster. Needed more roll. The lobster was too much for the half roll it was served on. But that's my only complaint. We also got the bacon grilled cheese too. Very good and cheesy. Our picky eater got chicken and salad. All was prepared quickly and served in to go containers which was strange as we were dining in but helpful to take our extras home. The final cost was a little high but we got so much lobster in the rolls, there was the cost. Everything else was...
