McDonald's — Restaurant in Ocean City

I realize that this particular McDonald's is from the 60's era but this store was extremely very filthy. The ice machines were just hanging loose and unfastened from the ice and soda units exposing severe corrosion, lime and mold literally all over their machines. We ordered 2 Big Macs, 2 drinks and 4 strawberry pies that the store had non of any type up and ready for sale. We were told that it would be 10 minutes and we waited 10 minutes and the cook only put apple pies in and no other types of pies were made. Isn't it professional to keep a few extra of everything up and waiting for the customer. This McDonald's is the only one that I have ever been in that only prepares your food upon your order yet causing us to wait 30 minutes to get our original order then an additional 10 minutes for the strawberry pies that were NEVER made.The entre staff appeared clueless and unprofessional. Floors were extremely filthy greasy dangerous to walk on without slipping. The bathrooms looked as if they haven't been cleaned for weeks with nasty crud all throughout both men's and women's restrooms. Unfortunately I do not recommend this particular McDonald's. I had a sweet tea that tasted like sugar and had no flavor of tea that I immediately threw away upon leaving after 3 sips. The entire restaurant was so dangerously unsafe, highly unhealthy when you can literally see mold on drink and food units as well throughout the entire restaurant. Due to the highly exposed mold made me very sick and nauseous just from the exposure open to the air. I will be contacting the OC health department and sending them all of my pics that I took so that others that have health issues that when exposed to open mold will not get sick or hospitalized. This restaurant needs to be shutdown immediately because it is a very extremely dangerous unhealthy and very filthy to risk eating. Upon eating our Big Mac's both the wife and I got very sick with nausea and diarrhea with in 30 minutes after eating ruining our time for 1 day for a Memorial service we drove 4.5 hours to attend. My question and fear is if the restaurant is so dangerously filthy with mold makes me wonder if their food is out dated or cooked properly. I also know that owners that knowingly intentionally is ignoring all safety laws have no care and respect for their customers and I feel that this particular McDonald's owes me and my wife some form of restitution because Monday morning I will be contacting OC's health Department and send them the pics of the inside clearly showing the dangers of deadly mold exposure. Mobile order, drive thru pick up. They told me at the window they were out of hazelnut syrup for the coffee. I said, okay, remove the syrup from the order, it gets refunded to my card, right? IDK about you, but since all these Mobile ordering apps have been pushed since COVID, the deals have gotten worse and fixing an order has been like self dentistry. Here, the manager came to the window, said, I'll refund you in cash and gave me the $0.39. Yeah, I'm sure you're like, really... You're gonna complain about thirty-nine cents. IDK about you, but how many times have you just been nickeled and dimed, just accepting the losses, or had places (like KFC) who's policy is to not give change anymore? It is theft. Would I have left the change go? Probably, but, I'll poke the bear at least once. Whoever that manager was, that establishment should be proud of her. No drawn out pissing battles where to customer is wrong, no you have to come in to get the refund, no call customer service. Executive action was employed, she showed she cared. I've worked in food for many years. I'm sure, if she is willing to treat a customer with respect for thirty-nine cents, she treats the people she manages with respect as well. Listen I love this place, i come to this city every summer and this time its been terrible, messy and under staffed, My experience today was much worse than ever before, i biked over to the McDonald's and walked inside at 8:30ish than my brothers who were behind me were locked out cause they "closed the lobby" despite just letting me get in, the communication was so bad that I didn't know that though so i walked to the door confused trying to leave/let my brothers in when a worker told me "open that door and we won't make your order" i just left cause i was confused and annoyed, we than went to the burger king next to it (sadly) but atleast they served us in the lobby.
