Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Ocean Springs

I’ve worked as a server at a restaurant and know how to act and as a server you tend to go above and beyond for a good tip. This is the fifth time I’ve gone to this restaurant and the servers are “nice” like they all act like they don’t want to be there. I get it I’ve been there. The last two times I’ve been there one being last night my family and I had the same server I believe her name in Anne or Annie she’s very nice I will give her that and she makes light jokes, the first time we had her we ordered mozz sticks as appetizer and then my sister in law and I decided to do the 2 for $20 meals and asked if the mozz sticks we ordered could be in place of our app in the deal she looks at us as if we’re dumb and says “well I guess I can do that” the rest of our dinner was great, she checked on us multiple times and then when she brings the check my husband who was at work wanted us to bring him food so we politely ask if we can order to go and just add it on our bill again she stares blankly at us and says “yeah, I’ll do that for you” and stomps off while she was nice she just acted like we were asking too much of her and we still tipped her well because we’re both servers and thought maybe she’s just having a bad day. Last night my husband joined us again she’s polite and greets us and brings our drinks and goes to walk off as my husband is asking her for an appetizer and she keeps walking. We order our food and then my husband orders the triple bacon burger 86 the set up and she stands there confused so she huffs and says “so what do you want on it then?” To simplify for her we say no veggies no lettuce, tomato, onion or pickle that’s it. When the food is brought out it has lettuce and tomato on it and she noticed it right away and said “at least there’s no pickle or onion you can just take those off” my husband takes one bite into his burger and knows for a fact it’s not the triple bacon burger he tells her this and she stands there and tries to tell him this is what he told her he wanted. He’s upset and asks her to go ask the kitchen what the burger has on it “since he doesn’t order the same burger every time we come here” she comes back and again tells my husband he’s in the wrong. Manager of the kitchen comes out and explains my husband is correct about the burger side note my husbands mother worked for Applebee’s for over 10 years and he also worked in the kitchen for Applebee’s as a teen. We get a discount, my food was amazing and my daughter smashed her Mac and cheese as usual it’s just the staff we have encountered act like they don’t want to be there if we go there again I would not like to be served by this woman again. This is the second chance we gave Applebee's. The first time I sat with a party of seven and the waitress never came to our table to take our orders or drinks. We waited over 20 minutes and just ended up leaving about 2 months ago. This time today we came in placed our order and the appetizers came out. They just sat them on the table and did not give us any plates to eat them on. They usually will bring out small plates for them. We finally asked another waitress if she could bring some out. When she did the plates were all dirty. I waited for our waitress to return for another drink and new plates. After waiting awhile I finally walked up to the bar and tried ordering another beer. I was told because I was at a table the waitress would need to add it. I stated that the only reason why I am at the bar and walked across the restaurant was that she was not coming to the table, she still did not give me a drink. So our waitress finally shows up with the beer and gets 2 orders wrong. We ordered a steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The other order was supposed to be medium steak with fries and broccoli. They put double broccoli on one plate and mashed potatoes and fries on the other and the medium steak was bleeding it was so under cooked. After they fixed my son's orders I sat there while everyone was eating for about 20 minutes wondering where my steak was. When the waitress finally returned after everyone was done she asked if everything was ok. At this point, I stated that I never got my steak. I had asked another waitress earlier if she could ask our waitress to please come to the table and she never did during the wait BTW. At this point, she grabbed a manager who quickly apologized and said she would take my missing plate off the bill.....really that's it you will take the missing meal off the bill?? Dirty dishes, orders messed up, missing meal, and I had to get up to try and get a drink. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER- I'll preface this by saying our waitress was kind, albeit young and new to serving tables. We waited 15 minutes for 3 sodas, then another 15 minutes for the 1 beer that was ordered at the same time as the other drinks, to be told they were out of that beer. Waited 15 more minutes for the beer we ended up having to order before walking over to the bar to get it myself. After being there 30 minutes, our waitress took our order. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 kids meals. Took 25 minutes for 1 appetizer to come. Another 40 minutes for our food to come (no knives for steaks and missing 1 kids meal). My 4 year old only had a fork to eat his applesauce with, and none of his other food arrived so he was digging in! Waited about 12 minutes before flagging someone down to ask for knives, refills, and a manager. While waiting for the manager (who did no table touches for anyone all evening), our 2nd appetizer showed up. Manager came, with missing kids meal in hand. All food was luke-warm. Med-rare steaks were wellllll done. After telling her all of this, she asked what id like for her to do to make us happy. Then she took off the 2 kids meals and the 2nd appetizer. She also blamed everything on our waitress being "very young" and new to this job. Yet, she wasn't checking on a single table (maybe 10 tables full in the whole place). Plates stacked up and every employee just walked past them, never clearing them away throughout meal. We decided to order desserts. I wanted the little chocolate cake and ice cream thing SO bad, and so did my 4 year old. After another 25 minutes, I decided to walk to the bar and ask to check out. Desserts never came. We were there for 2.5 hours all together. At an Applebee's. On a Sunday evening (arrived at 4:50pm). Bathrooms were gross (one stall is missing a door), soap dispenser was empty. Every table in there was mumbling about not having drinks or waiting so long for food. The whole meal was really bad. I waited tables for years. I'm pretty patient with servers and restaurants... but this...
