Update 8-11-2022. Still very good and have eaten here 6 more times since this last review. I really like this place. I am heading there now for an awesome Chef Salad, YUMMMM!!!!
Third time eating there today. 2 times with doordash and 1 pick-up. The two doordash orders were great but the special directions must not have made it through with the order. I ordered the burger and it was great but it was put on the bun and that should be avoided for delivery because the bun gets soggy. I ordered a Sassy Chef Salad today and went to pick it up. When I ordered, I asked for extra meats and bacon. When they brought me the ticket to pay, it was 26.00 for the salad with extra meat. This was totally my fault for not asking how much extra it would be. So the sticker shock bummed me out but since I ordered it, I bought it. Just make sure if you ask for extra meat that you either look at the menu or ask about the additional charges to avoid sticker shock. NOW, I have to say that the salad was freaking amazing, so if I had to pay this price, I will say that it was not skimpy at all and now the sticker shock is not so bad in my head because the quality was really good. One of my pet peeves with salads is if they are dripping wet and not dried but it appears as if they dry/spin the lettuce after washing it because the dressing actually stuck to the salad and that is awesome. So I am having salad for lunch and dinner, but it is a good salad so that is not a problem. I understand that their costs have gone through the roof and having run a restaurant myself, during covid, I hate it for all restaurants because most are struggling to survive. So, overall, yes, I love this place. Support local business folks, I come from a place that has no mom and pops left and all we are left with is big corporate restaurants and chains. Read moreJust thought I should share my togo experience. When I went to check out our new restaurant in town I decided I would get takeout like usual (as a trial run) then bring friends to dine in. The people were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Being that today was a busy day it actually took me way longer than usual to open up my package and warm it. Upon opening I noticed my extra side of green beans were missing so I decided to call the store (not to complain, just to confirm whether I had even requested or much less paid for them and it appeared I had) the person on the store actually offered to have them brought to me immediately. This person had no idea how far/close I was from the location yet insisted to deliver them. Thankfully, my street is barely 5 minutes away and my green beans arrived promptly. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS 100% BEST. EVERYONE needs to check this restaurant out. My food was wonderful and I am looking forward to trying other items on their menu. Lastly, when the missed item was delivered the individual refused another tip stating it was their error ...definitely not something you see anymore. A restaurant that makes an incidental error and goes to what I feel to be over and above to correct it. They have a customer for life when it comes to me and my family. Read moreJust ate there for lunch & I'm giving a 1 star bc of the customer service from the owner. My Mother ordered fried oysters & they were so nasty she couldn't eat them. I quietly & respectfully informed our server that the oysters were slimy & had a horrible taste like they were straight from a jar & barely thrown in the fryer. Our server spoke with the owner & came back to tell us "fried oysters are supposed to be slimy & for future reference, order them extra crispy". Umm, excuse me?? My mother orders oysters every where she goes if they have oysters on the menu & she has never complained about not liking them much less not able to eat them! The owner did not offer to take at least a little off of our ticket for the oysters that wasn't ate nor did they offer to come out of the kitchen and speak with us. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was actually really good so our only concern was the oysters but the poor & rude customer service from the owner was disappointing! And bc of that, our family will not support Lancaster's ever again & I will not recommend...
