Chen's Kitchen — Restaurant in Oceanside

I love eating at Chen’s Kitchen especially because of their delicious menu my favorites are the House Special Fried Rice with tender pieces of Shrimp, Grilled Chicken and Thin Sliced Marinated Beef, Beef with mixed vegetables, Mi Fen thinner Noodles with Grilled Chicken with veggies, and their desserts. I ate their 8 pieces of the Red Bean Sesame Balls. These Sesame Balls are filled with this sweet red bean filling and it tastes very good. Also I enjoy visiting their owners Mandy and her husband own Chen’s Kitchen. Mandy has been in restaurant business for 28 years now she told me. Mandy also every time I dine inside her restaurant, I am treated with respect and appreciation for my business. Customer service is good and the food was prepared without us having to wait an exorbitant amount of time. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered Szechuan tofu with rice and then vegetable chow mein (which was amazing) and my nana ordered salt and pepper wings and vegetable egg rolls. She claims they were excellent. I'm usually a big eater but could not finish it all. Place is mid sized, if you intend to have a large party, you will take up most of the space in this place. Tables would have to be moved together if you wanted to sit together. Other than that it is perfect for 1-4 people to grab lunch and go. They take phone orders. First time here! Delicious vegetable egg foo young! So hard to find and have it actually be soooo good! Full of veggies and egg! Three thick and generous portions in one order! Super gravy served on the side...full of garlic and green onions...sweet and savory, just like from my childhood family owned go to Chinese restaurant!
