Hello, I recently discovered this place last week. The place is somewhat secluded which gives it a hidden gem type of feel. The appearance is like a small town cafe and seems inviting. The personnel were all genuinely polite and kind. I ordered 2 empanada, french bread and cookies. My family enjoyed the desserts. They seemed to be fresh. However, I went this morning and had the same experience but my order was different. I ordered 2 empanada's again and 3 cinnamon rolls. I am very disappointed with the bakery goods. The cinnamon rolls and empanadas were stale and definitely a day or two old. we called the bakery informing them of our displeasure. The lady said I must have ordered from the discount section. I don't see how 2 empanadas and 3 cinnamon rolls costing $10.75 is a discount nor did I ask for a discounted product. In any case why are you putting discount products with fresh ones? Basically I don't believe any of the products this morning were fresh. Really all I want is someone to be honest and accountable for their mistake. I support small family businesses rather than mainstream businesses. But if this place is inconsistent or dishonest then I will no longer support the...
Read moreMy partner and I came here for breakfast a couple weeks ago. This used to be our favorite spot. After this last time I won’t come here again. A lady was so rude to us that day, we felt so discriminated against and what sucks is I think she’s one of the owners because we always see her there. Mind you my partner had a black eye from an accident, so I don’t know if that’s why she felt a need to treat us in such a way. She was passive aggressive, took our plates before we were done, sounded annoyed when we asked for more of anything, and when I asked her for more coffee and creamer she said “ok, I’ll be right there” in an annoyed way. And just stayed there at the register. We waited about 10 minutes at our table before we figured she wasn’t coming. We paid before that so we left, I even said bye and thank you and she didn’t think of saying “oh sorry about that, let me grab what you wanted before you go!” Like I said, I felt so discriminated against and never before have I felt degraded like here. Sadly I had such a bad experience I won’t come here again. I really liked the food and the other woman who helped us was not like her, she spoke mainly Spanish and...
Read moreSomething for the owners to think about, "If the food isn't great the service should be..." On the Carnitas Dinner the pork was dry and had no flavor. I asked for onions and cilantro and the women in charge suggested pico de gallo and then charged me $3 without telling me. When the check came I asked her what the misc. charge was for and she said we charge for everything extra. Mind you this was a dine in restaurant not a drive up window. I still left a good tip because my heart would not allow me to behave any other way, I just know for sure I will not be returning. The meals were served at different times and the waitress didn't bring syrup for my son's french toast. We were all going to order a variety of pastries to take home, the waitress said she could add it on to the bill at the end and then forgot to give us the pastries we had requested. That definately was silent advice that we listened to. 😏 Everybody be blessed and have a...
