As a Rhode Islander living here in California, I’ve always been about supporting small businesses and trying up and coming establishments in the local area. Without a doubt, that was the best Torta I’ve had since being here in California. I didn’t take the photo, it’s been devoured. The horchata was refreshing and really replenishing. Service was great, no issues! I ordered: Horchata - very watered down Chicken torta - was decent, but the chicken didn’t seem very fresh, felt re heated. Chilaquiles w/ chicken - it was the same chicken as the sandwich. Cut in long strips which made it harder to eat. But the worst part for me was that it seems like they pre cooked the chilaquiles ahead of time and the tortilla soaked in the sauce and there was no texture at all. I went to the soft opening at Torta Time and it was absolutely delicious! I tried the turkey and cheese torta with their homemade chipotle sauce it was so flavorful. The beans in the torta added the perfect touch. I also sampled the carne asada and my niece had the chicken torta, and we all loved them.

The service was great Stephanie at the counter was so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with love. I’m excited to come back and try...
