Tripadvisor reviews helped us decide on 333 Pacific for our anniversary dinner. Made a reservation online the night before. They called the next day to confirm and asked if we were celebrating anything or had any special requests. I informed them it was our anniversary. Very pleasant on the phone. Arrived early for an early cocktail and then our dinner date. Heidi was cute and attentive with our pre-dinner drinks. Drinks were exactly as ordered. We were then offered to sit street side for a comfortable view of the pier. Kwan was absolutely polite, gracious and attentive. My wife was wowed by the Carrot Ginger Bisque. Good size bowl vs. cup. I had the wedge salad. Fresh and plentiful. My wife truly enjoyed a tender delicious Cajun salmon while I feasted on a NY strip with side lobster tail. All cooked to perfection. I had to stop early so I didn't over do it and knew I wanted coffee and possibly dessert. We were pleasantly surprised when Kwan brought out a delicious and warm chocolate cake with drizzled chocolate syrup that wished us a "Happy Anniversary ". Very sweet and attentive of them. The Manager also stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and see how we liked our dinner. We knew that this was not going to be a cheap dinner nor did we want it to be. We were pleased from the moment we received the confirming phone call to the bidding us goodnight and thanking us for coming in. We were treated very special by all and the quality and portions were worthy of the price paid. We will definitely come back when we return to Oceanside...
Read moreFood - Teri Cafe, for the kind of food it serves, is one of those rare food trifecta unicorns that is a cheap, fast and good restaurant. The food - from ramen to sushi to soba to gyoza - all of it, is really good and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. And they have that rhythm of constantly busy places where the food gets produced very efficiently, and you hardly have to wait before you're eating, i.e., it is pretty darned FAST.
Ambience - A clean, laid back, cafeteria atmosphere with little touches of Japanese and Hawaiian decor to remind you of what you came to eat.
Service - You order (and tip) at the counter, and they deliver the food to your table. The staff are pleasant, polite and attentive, and they're very good about refilling your drinks.
We've eaten at the other Oceanside location on El Camino Real, and found that one to also be good, if a little too noisy and frenetic for my liking. The food was also a little saltier at the other location than I like.
But this location just has a more relaxing feng shui to it, you can sit out on the patio to enjoy a little more quiet and to take in our usually beautiful O-Side weather, and the food is slightly, but noticeably, better executed here, IMO.
A great place to take a very hungry family for a variety of Japanese dishes (and beer and sake) at super...

What makes Teri's Cafe particularly special to me is its rich history in our local community. I Can remember eating this in high school 20 years ago and thinking then and even now, this is a really great place to eat. The restaurant has been a beloved fixture in Oceanside for over 50 years, serving up home-style comfort food and warm hospitality to generations of loyal customers.
In fact, Teri's Cafe is one of the oldest family-owned and operated restaurants in the area, and it has a reputation for being a must-try destination for anyone visiting the town.
But beyond the food, what really sets Teri's Cafe apart is the warmth and personality of its staff. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you're part of the family. It's no wonder that so many locals and tourists alike make it a point to stop by Teri's Cafe whenever they're in town.
All in all, I highly recommend Teri's Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a taste of local history in Oceanside. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, you're sure to leave feeling...
