Took my son on a Tuesday afternoon after school to use a coupon, from the creamery, that he was awarded at his school for an academic achievement. This coupon clearly states it may only be used Monday-Thursday for a free kiddie cup. Walked into the store and was loudly asked if I was there for the private party. If not I had to leave. Woman behind the counter points and says we're closed and there's a sign at the door. My mistake for walking by the sign....yes.....but the sign also said to ring bell at service counter outside to place order. I took my son to the service counter, rang the bell and was ignored by staff. Went back around to take a picture of the sign because I was confused and upset. Why does my coupon say i may use it on Tuesday, if i can not use it on Tuesday? The lady behind the counter came outside and said only if I wanted something quick she would help me. But they are closed every Tuesday. I pointed to the bottom of the sign where it said we could order at the service window and she said No.....and it should clarify but it doesn't and she's the owner. I said no,and left. All around just terrible customer service. Even worse,from the OWNER in front of my son who has been looking forward to coming to get his ice cream award from school. He left feeling pretty crummy. I understand my mistake in not seeing the sign upon walking in,or understanding that they are closed every Tuesday but the delivery of this information matters. Read moreI was the coach of the team that had the party at your establishment. My team mom contacted you an said we would have a minimum of 24 people which means there could be more. Your employees continually made the kids not feel welcomed by telling them to go in the corner of your shop when there was only 4 people in your shop the whole 45 minutes we were there. We kept being told we are not regular customers and we were making it so your regular customers were leaving again you had 4 people there we brought in 45 people and we were never told we couldn’t have that many. As far as the parking lot incident of you chasing a mom down because she told her kids let’s go I’m done being yelled at by the employees is not a right for you to go after her as a former business owner the only reason I would be going after a guest is to apologize for bad service and ask how I can make it right instead you started bad mouthing the team mom so don’t act like the mom made the scene bad choice to go after a customer like that. As a board member of Windermere little league I can assure I will advise them not to use your company again and a s a teacher in the community I will let the pto and staff of the school know this is how you do business. Must say very classless on the part of the owner. And I am not sure how the minimum was not met with each person buying an item from you but it’s ok there are other places that don’t treat the customers this way and would be more then happy to have 45 people come in and pay...
Read moreI saw some videos of them making the sodas and wanted to try. Should have looked at the year ( cause it was 5 years ago) because they didn't do that for me. The ice cream is your typical Hershey Ice Cream. They have a decent amount of flavors, the staff was attentive and very helpful and he was was very detailed in explaining what each item consisted of. Overall its a nice little ive cream parlor with a old time feel. You have lots of options to choose from. It is a little pricey but I see people comparing it to Twistee which is not a equal comparison. Too totally different styles and quality. Your paying more for an experience and variety of options. I will probably go back but still disappointed in the soda ordeal. ( Might just been that I got Cola which in hindsight is probably a more popular flavor so they probably don't make from scratch like the video- but who knows I'm giving them the benefit...
