We catered from Casa Ortiz and it was the worst service we have received. We paid for 200 people and only received food for 100 people or less. We then proceeded to let them know and they would not give us our refund. They were rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Their food was spoiled and was left out for a long time with no proper heating, it made my whole family and guests sick for days. My kids had to miss school for almost an entire week due to this food. I went to their restaurant to discuss this matter with them, and the owners sister was rude and tried to hit me. Update: I’ve had a chance to eat at this restaurant a few times now. So I can say it’s delicious and the lady that works the front is very friendly. I love the vibe in this place. Very warm and inviting. —————————————————————————-

Response to owners comment - your website says you are open on Saturdays but you’re not. It wastes people’s time. Not sure how many stars you think that deserves.

Please update your hours of operation. I showed up on Saturday only to find it’s closed and the hours on the window are different than online. I waited all week to come eat at this place...

The staff there was very nice and helpful I can't say a bad word about the service, it's just I've ate alot of places all over and the food here was not good. There was no cilantro in the salsa the chips were stale no salt no flavor the salsa was just hot no flavor. The chicken tasted gamey and I honestly threw it up in the bathroom. The only thing that was ok was the hard shell beef taco but if I'm gonna spend my money to eat out I expect it to be better then what I make at home and this was a complete waste of money..and the place it wedged in a corner by the hospital hard to get to parking is scarce, and the bathroom stunk of poo so bad their febreeze doesn't help. Maybe it was a bad day idk but I wouldn't...
