I visit this store periodically and the service is almost always really good and quick. The other night, in my haste, I notice they left out my fries and Apple pie and I revisited the store today simply enquiring about such. The young girl that addressed my querry instantly made it right By giving me the to items left off my order. As such, are ordered and paid for additional food. Unfortunately, I did not catch the young girl's name but its service like this that brings myself and other customers back as I'm sure the mistake made that night was completely unintentional. Thank you for such great service! Moreover, thank you to the manager and his staff for keeping this door rather clean as all fast food restaurants should do. Cheers!
In stark contrast, across the University of Texas campus is a Dollar General on East University and Parkway that is the most filthy and atrociously dirty store I have ever been in to. Such concerns have been voiced repeatedly by many customers the employs have told me yet they do nothing about it. So props to make Donald's for keeping this East Side restaurant plane! Read moreRude older Spanish lady manager with alot of make up on her face working in the morning around 11 a.m. 10-16-2024 , I’m not even from Odessa , but I walked in there just to get a cup of water & she was staring at me weird the entire walk from the front door up to the register. instead of “hi welcome to McDonald’s “ or something. She asked me if I’m purchasing anything I said no I just need a cup of water. “Ok your getting a small water “ that’s what she said in a real snarky arrogant tone. Then she talked real nice & polite to the 2 old white people that were right behind me in line. That’s when I took it personal.
I guess I wasn’t up to her standard of customer , a real arrogant stuck up person. But I guess she’s just that way to customers she looks down on .
Not professional at all. Imagine that, a great grandma working at McDonald’s thinking she’s better than people lmfao. You work at McDonald’s lady & you look 70 years old. Stop trying to make other peoples lives miserable because your life didn’t go the way you thought it would. Read moreCame in around 11 at night on Monday evening and the line was huge and slow moving. Tried to order two vanilla cones but they're out of cones, so they offered ice cream in a cup, which was the best alternative. Also ordered a diet Coke. There is the usual payment window that follows after the order window but it is actually EMPTY: it isn't actually used to pay. You actually have to continue along and pay at the same spot where you pick up your order, which was really unexpected. There's ZERO signage indicating that the payment window is defunct and non-operational. Since all the lights are fully on for that window, the customer is left to keep thinking to wait for an employee to come up but no one ever shows. It's very deceiving and misguided.
So, the place is disorganized in their system. Customer service is much poorer than I've experienced from other McDonald's.
The soft serve cups we got tasted much more "dense" than usual: the texture and consistency was not the typical light ones we got for cones. Also, my diet Coke tasted really really off.
