Read moreTammy in Customer service at Market Street in Odessa, TX went way and beyond providing excellent customer service to assist me with gift cards. She could train others on what the meaning of customer service is. I had a bad experience at Walmart and she made up for it. She deserves a raise, highest recognition and the employee of the year award. Thank you Tammy for all you did for me on Thursday 3/13/25. Most would of pointed me in the direction of the location of the cards. She showed me were they were and noticed they were out on went behind her counter and found the ones I needed. Others would of just said we're out of those. First they wouldn't of showed me were they were. I was mislead by the Customer service at Walmart. They need to learn excellent customer service from Tammy because she knows how to truly treat a customer. For her great service I will go to Market Street to get my gift cards and I informed her that as well. Tammy deserves a raise, reconciliation and employee of the year award. Thank you Tammy for providing me with excellent service you made my day. Especially after the bad experience I had at Walmart. Praise 🙌 to God for sending Tammy to assist me and show that there are still people who know how to provide great service to customers like...
Read moreOverall, one of the best places to shop for groceries in Odessa (along with the other Albertsons, yay!)
However, I had a recent experience with the pharmacy at this one with a pharmacist: my prescription was filled for the wrong amount. When I called them, the pharmacist kept blaming it on me for not having insurance or the cashier for changing the amount of pills (I was there, she didn't do this) and said they did it to save me money. I ended up transferring my prescription elsewhere and within the hour returned to Albertsons pharmacy to get a refund on my meds. She outright refused (via the cashier) until a store manager came by and talked to her.
Then, when my other pharmacy called to get my prescriptions transferred, she refused because they "didn't have any more refills." Which wasn't true actually. I had 2 refills on all my prescriptions except one.
So yeah, this store is all right overall, but your chances are iffy in the pharmacy. To be fair, all the techs and workers there are very nice & try to be helpful, but yeah. Be on your guard, always check your meds before you leave the store, and maybe don't use this one. I like the one in Walmart on 42nd -- surprisingly good and...
