Whataburger — Restaurant in Odessa

I am here in town for work. This restaurant was clean when I went here today and 2 nights ago. I give this Whataburger a star for several reasons. The staff is walking around lala gagging, my took forever to receive both times, and my order was wrong both times. the first order 2 nights ago I just dealt with it and tonight I went back to reorder again. I asked a different lady that was there to please make sure it was right because I just ordered 10 minutes ago. Then when I got to the hotel to see it was wrong. The manager over heard and told me he will fix it and I would not have to pay. not after seeing 3 other people order after me and to receive the food as well. Then the drive thru customer getting their order also. The manager told me 2 times my order was next during all this time. I had it, I put my number on the counter and told the first girl that took my order tonight to cancel it nicely and left. I went to my car got the original order walked inside and through it in the trash. The manager then saw me as he walked out side to tell me for the 3rd time my order was coming out next. I am sorry but I do not have the time for this. I just order a simple hamburger that should not take 15 minutes to make. You can keep it and I'll deal with my lost time and monies. I done seen other people come and go after me with bigger order. Thank you I will go somewhere else and not return. I then went to Mc Donalds to order a hamburger that took 3 minute and it was correctly done. I"ll continue to enjoy eating at Whataburger only in my town where they have not once mess...

This was over a year ago, I've finally calmed down enough to write a review. I love their spicy ketchup. (Drive thru) I ordered a burger with fries and planned to add some spicy ketchup to my burger. They told me no when I asked for extra ketchup. "We are losing money on the ketchup". So I said please I need it to enjoy my meal. Charge me if you have to. "I'm sorry we don't have ketchup in our system so I can't charge you for it." Baffling but I said again "well I need it to enjoy my meal, what do you suggest I do?"

She goes on the tell me that it's sold at H.E.B.... I say, So you want me to drive over to HEB and find the condiment isle, wait in line and come out to my truck and eat my cold soggy fries n burger. After I spent $5 bucks on ketchup. I made her aware I was unsatisfied with that answer and left without going in to talk to a manger because I felt I wouldn't be able to keep my composure.

I love their spicy ketchup and the burgers are good. They may have sorted the issue where they are "losing money on the ketchup" since then. I don't know, I haven't been back to...

Just left this store after sitting in line for almost 45 minutes and then another 10 minutes watching them laugh, chat, joke and play around at the window. We ordered 2 large drinks and an order of fries and after sitting as I said for almost 10 minutes at the window with absolutely NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT left with nothing. Called multiple times and after repeated back to back calls (maybe 15 or 20) someone named Christopher answered. Got name of main manager (he said her name is Elizabeth and will be there at 10a.m. on Monday), and let him know that I would be contacting her and their corporate office to advise of their incredibly terrible service, failure to answer multiple calls and complacent attitudes regarding it all. I’m probably glad I didn’t get a chance to have the food, if their service and attitudes are any reflection on the product I wouldn’t waste my money. Drove away, went to Whataburger on Andrews Hwy in Odessa where even though they were busy was promptly acknowledged and served.
