I ended up having to call corporate on this store on September 20th which happened to be my birthday and the very first time in four years that I had ordered a Starbucks drink due to bad customer service. The lady had me in tears by the time I was driving away because she told me that I pretty much sounded like I was begging for a free drink for my birthday because I was adamant that she look at the dates on my coupons because they were valid and she continually told me that the promotion wasn't starting until the next day. When everything was said and done it was a promotion that like I had stated 10 times to her had already started on the 18th and wasn't over until the 21st. So I called customer service and Lodge the complaint I was then told that the DM would get in touch with me within 48 hours and here it is 9 days later and I haven't heard from anybody so I give them a call again real quick and number one none of my complaint was even in the computer system. Good one Starbucks! Where is the integrity in taking customer complaints yet not reporting them. So here I am talking to another customer representative who is acting like he couldn't care less about what is going on and could I please speed it along so he could get back to doing absolutely nothing. This representative continually cuts me off and breathes hard acting as if I'm putting him out with my complaint. He didn't lets me know that the DM will contact me in 48 hours. Yeah I now know what that means for real it's just telling me that they don't give a damn and they're not going to contact me. The girl who was so disrespectful to me on my birthday should have lost her job by the way she treated me and yet Starbucks did absolutely nothing. Starbucks has so much confidence in their ability to make a good cup of coffee that they have lost all connection with human beings. The customer service alone is worse than an old barmaid who's belly is hanging over their pants and got a long cigarette hanging out of her mouth. And Starbucks condones this behavior. So I'm going to do what I do best I'm going to go on absolutely every social media website and post about this. You know what Starbucks, I matter!!! Obviously not to you. But that's okay. You guys obviously aren't worried about one person making a complaint. Sad thing is is when I went on to do this review I read the past 2 years worth of reviews in well sounds like you guys have a big problem and need to do an overhaul of customer service training for each and every one of your employees. I will never drink another Starbucks again ever in life will I ever drink one and I'm going to do everything I possibly can to make sure that my friends and neighbors and my community know that that's how you get treated when you drive up to that Starbucks and so that little coffee shop right around the corner from you is going to get my vote and promotion. You guys suck all the way around from face to face in your store to on the phone with your customer service reps....
Read moreIt looked closed but the online says it closes at 11pm. I went in and saw a lady mopping the floor. It was 9pm. I asked if they were open she rolls her eyes and said yes. I had a visitor from New Jersey with us. We all walked in and because the floor was soaking wet we asked if we could order from the door. She looked at us like we were stupid, and this while she’s picking up the chairs like they are closing, so my visitor asked can we order from over there, pointed at the couches she didn’t respond, he thought she didn’t understand us so he spoke in Spanish and she got upset and told us that she refused our service. A group of 6. We were shocked! And she demanded us to leave. He apologized to this lady but she was furious and rude. She even told us to go down the street to 7brew because she was not gonna help us. WOW! This is the impression that my guest got from here. I and all my family and friends will no longer come back. It saddens me that this is customer service nowadays.
2 Things:
Great Service @ 42nd and Grandview; ask for Barista Christina; VERY friendly, prompt, and sweet.
There are 3 other locations (on this same "city block: Grandview to Pkwy) NOT listed on the map; guess Seattle hasn't gotten around to listing them since theyre newer but theyve been open long enough to be listed. 2 "Freestanding" Locations: THIS ONE @ 42nd & Grandview One Block East on 42nd (NEW - Target) One block East on 42nd (NEW - Marketstreet by Albertsons/Safeway Corp) NEW Freestanding like #1 - East 42nd (aka: Hwy 191) and JBS Pkwy:
ALL 4 in-a-row on 42nd Street/Hwy 191 (ALL located within about 1 mile on 42nd St - Hwy 191).
NOTE: Other "reviews" stating it's the ONLY full-sized one - as of 2016 - are WRONG. There's a FULL-SIZED one JUST down the VERY SAME street @ Grandview & Parkway! ??? AND 2 or 3 in Midland for quite some time now! These other reviews are NOT well-informed...
