The food was good. I've been here two days in a row. However yesterday I was treated great by the waitress that served me and today I was treated like I should not have come. The food was served hot and ready to enjoy yesterday and today it was just warm. Yesterday the color of my skin did not seem to matter and today it seemed to matter a lot. Others around me shall I say were catered to, by the waitress that served me, while I was continually ignored. Perspectives can be different from all however when I see people sitting down at a table across from mine, who seem to be accepted by this waitress and have been there less time than I have being asked multiple questions about what they want, how they want it and making sure they are happy and not once is this happening to myself I can't help but wonder if I just got the right waitress yesterday or if it was simply a fluke and people like myself are actually not welcome. However the food was good although it was prepared properly yesterday and not today. I would not recommend this place to anyone because no one should ever have to feel the way I do today after being treated unequal. All people deserve the same treatment no matter their race, color, creed, sex or religion. I wish these people well and may they be blessed in their...

I resisted going to this place for a long time based on the reviews in this and other venues, some good and some not so good! I heard it is under new ownership so I decided to finally give it a try today. One of the things people commented a lot on was their salsa! Yes, it is not the typical mild and common tomato based salsa you find at most Mexican food restaurants in these parts. It is a green salsa probably made with extra hot roasted long green chilies or jalapenos and yes it is pretty warm. This is very typical of the type if salsas you'll find at Mex food restaurants in El Paso, which I hear the owners are from. I had the Menudo and it was relatively good. They served it with a Mexican bolillo bread which is very typical of El Paso also. The service was good and fast. I did observe the food being served to other folks and it looked very good. I also noticed the Sopes on the menu which you don't see at other Mex food restaurants here. All in all, I thought it was pretty good and will have to come back and give it another try. One thing I exoerienced and agree with another review, the waitress hovered over while I was paying the bill at the table. That was...

Please look at the prices on the menu 17.84 for a moharra frita, then look at the price on the actual bill, 18.55. I asked the waiter, husband of the owner about it and the following happens: He calls his wife on the phone and first she tells me she has added the tax already, however; the bill reflects an additional amount for sales tax. I mentioned this to her and now she states it's a fee for using either a debit card or credit card. The problem was I had not mentioned how I was paying yet!!!

I will not patronize liars or thieves. If you need me to gift you charity, ask me, but don't steal from me.

By the way this not the tip. I always leave cash tips to ensure the waiter or waitress get their funds immediately.

Please be active in reviewing your receipts. We have sales tax laws for a reason.

This owner not only disrespected me the customer, but assumed I was ignorant of business and professional codes, needless to say accounting.

Moral: We all come in different shapes and sizes, who has the right to decide your intellectual ability without...

This use to be a good place for dining, but after the service we received on Saturday the 15th. I am definitely rethinking my opinion. We were having a family breakfast. One family member requested scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of 3 strips of bacon. When they brought her plate it had 6 bacon strips. She pointed it out to the waitress and she said that it was all right. When she brought the ticket she reviewed the ticket she was charged for 4 sides. She was told it was due she had ordered 3 strips of bacon. So that was the reason she was being charged for 4 sides. Even the owner said that the bill was correct, because she had requested 3 strips. NOW I'm not a wiz at math but I don't think that asking for 3 bacon strips and being brought 6 strips can equal to be considered as 4 sides. So I suggest you check your bill carefully before you pay and question immediately. Hope you have better luck, next time we will go to another Mexican restaurant, but certainly not Los Coporales. I know I'm going to tell my friends to be careful and check their bills.

I love this place, I always go with my grandmother. Today, after leaving with our take home leftovers, I shared with my fiancé to find a long, black strand of hair in the enchiladas. I love thier enchiladas, I do, I tried to show off how well of a lovely restaurant this place was; and for my partner to find a hair in the food is pitiful. He is a professional chef, he knows how it goes, plain and simple. This is ridiculous, very embarrassing, but I hope if we ever go again, they meet simple standards such as being well hygienic. And yes, I'm certain it is not either my hair, fiancé's hair, nor my grandmothers. I am long blonde-dyed hair (roots showing), my grandmother a short blonde hair(dyed blonde since she was 18), and my fiancé a faded dyed red. This hair was pure black and sickening considering it was a FULL strand.

The food was ok, the wife ordered green cheese enchiladas and was served green chicken enchiladas. Due to time restrictions, we chose not to make it an issue. The service took over 25 mins for two plates of enchiladas as other people's food was being served after our order had already been placed. The wait staff was also bothered when asked for corn tortillas to eat with the salsa before our order was placed. They arrived right before our main dishes were served, I'd say about 20 mins after asking for them. The tables around us were mainly oilfield workers and were promptly served, and their orders arrived quickly. We will probably not recommend this place or return in the near future.
