Went to lunch with my sons. We were sat at a booth with a huge glob of chewed gum on the center of the table, and no plates to eat rolls off of. Told the waitress and it was treated as if we were the problem off the bat. She eventually returned and removed the gum/brought plates. Every time she communicated with us was very dull, not welcoming and not happy to be doing her job clearly. We all ordered a variation of steak and fries. After waiting a while steaks came out but no fries. The man who brought them said the kitchen was backed up on fries and asked if we wanted another side. I said no, I would have preferred to keep waiting and been served all our food at the same time as neither steak or fries are appetizing cold. Or I would have expected some communication from wait staff that the fries were backed up and asked about waiting longer/picking another side before bringing out our steaks. I asked what could be done so that we got our food together hot and I was told he could take the steaks back to the kitchen to wait for fries, but it would be the same steaks served back to us when fries were ready. So I asked him to get a manager to see what could be done as that's not acceptable as a customer and doesn't sound safe from a health aspect to take food back from the table to leave it waiting for 5+ minutes to serve it again. The manager came about 5 minutes later to tell us that the kitchen only had about a minute left on fries and they'd be out. However when he returned with fries, I then had to send my steak back as I was served my sons kid meal steak and not the ribeye I ordered, nor was it cooked medium rare, instead it was well done completely cooked through. He took the steak back and said it would be another 5 minutes before a replacement was out. So my fries sat there getting cold while I waited. By the time it arrived my sons were done eating and it completely ruined our lunch. I was also asked to cut into the new steak to check it but when they took back the first steak they took all my silverware so I had to wait again for them to go get silverware before I could check it. After all of that the waitress nor management ever stopped back by to check on us after all the problems. My son ended up drinking his brothers drink because nobody every came back by to refill his soda. I don't need a handout and can definitely afford the meal, but even a customary discount when someone has had that many issues is warranted however was not given, so neither was a tip. We paid and got the hell out and as a native Texan, who has visited Texas roadhouse all across this great state and even in others, I can say this is officially the WORST Texas roadhouse you could ever visit. We will not be back and will travel the extra 15 minutes to the one in Midland or to a Saltgrass instead. Management needs a course in customer service and wait staff/kitchen need to communicate better to keep from serving customers cold food and thinking its...

Worst experience we've ever had here and we didn't even eat in the restaurant. I called in 3 dinners for carry out. For 3 of the sides we ordered loaded mashed potatoes. When my order was complete I asked if rolls were included and she said yes 4 come with the order. I asked how much for extra rolls and she told me it would be $2.00 for 6 additional rolls, so I ordered those 6 as well. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order she handed me the bag. I opened it and all of the rolls and butter were missing. I told her there should be 10 rolls total so she went to get the rolls and came back with them in a box (i should have checked her for the second time but thought surely double checking the order once was enough). When she collected from me, she charged $2.49 for the 6 extra rolls rather than the $2.00 I was told over the phone, and when I got home there were ONLY the 6 rolls, not the 10 like it should have been. In other words I paid $2.49 for only TWO additional rolls. Also, they charged us .99 additional for each of the 3 orders of loaded mashed potatoes. This extra fee was not on the menu online, nor was I told about it on the phone, and I've never paid extra for loaded potatoes when dining in at the restaurant. Moral of the story, today it felt like upcharging (and shortchanging) was more important to them than customer satisfaction. I'm very disappointed and will never order out from here again. Not that rolls or loaded potatoes or a few extra bucks are a big deal, but it's the moral of it that is frustrating. Always tell people when they're going to be charged extra, no matter how little or much that may be. Always double and even triple check each order before handing it off to your customer. And when someone speaks to you, listen to them and count that you've given them as many of one thing as they have ordered. It's simple really. That being said, 9/10 times I've dined in at this location I've had excellent service and the food was great. That 1/10 time was with a spastic waitress who spilled my drink all over my legs, and had several other bloopers that day, so I chalked it up to her having a bad day and never complained to anyone. But today was...

Got there at 11:30am. Place was already packed. Checked in for seating. Took around 20 minutes and we were taken to a table to seat our 7 person party. Four adults, one teenager and two children.

It was the teens birthday. So this was a birthday lunch for her. She loved the whole birthday cheer thing.

Food was excellent.

Appetizers we chose were the potato skins, fried pickles, and their take on the blooming onion called the catus blossom. Too much actually, which resulted in to go boxes in the end.

Three of us had Fort Worth ribeyes, one with ribs. One had a sirloin. And another had a T-bone.

The kids had kids food. Steak bites and Andy's steak.

All meat was cooked perfectly to order. It was some of the best steaks I've had in a while.

Sides were all over the place, fries, baked potatoes, broccoli, mashed potatoes, green beans. Everything tasted great.

No meat was left behind, but we did end up taking a couple of to go boxes with potatoes to eat later. Spoiler...I ate most of it later.

The waitress and and waiter were nice and helpful. Handled the drink refills and special requests with expert level customer interactions. Actually anticipating some things before we asked, like sealed lid plastic cups for the little ones.

They got drinks and appetizers out first and fairly quickly. We had a near perfect amount of time with it all before the main orders rolled out.

They do have those table based tablets for paying or whatever. We didn't utilize it for anything until the last step of paying. But for the mentally challenged people that were turned into hypochondriacs during the C19 period and still wear masks...you can do the whole reduced contact and contactless stuff. Or it has games for kids too.

Overall the trip was excellent. We actually drove over 100 miles to this establishment for our daughter's birthday request. Yes, she requested the place as a steak lover herself. And it got us near a mall for afterwards for her to explore.

It's getting 5 stars from me. My family agrees. If you need a good place to eat in Odessa this is hands down one of the best choices...

I visited Texas Roadhouse around 5:20–5:30 PM for a to-go order under the name AJ. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to poor customer service at the pickup window. When I arrived, I stood waiting while two employees talked about me through the window. One of them, named Harley, made it clear she did not want to assist me. When she finally opened the window, her greeting was simply, “What’s up?”which is unprofessional for a restaurant setting. Her overall demeanor came across as uninterested and rude, as though she didn’t want to be there. When reviewing my order, she acted like she couldn’t or didn’t want to read the receipt properly. It felt like she was rushing through it and didn’t care about accuracy. When I politely asked for a second bag (since I had multiple meals), she looked confused, acted bothered by the request, and was reluctant to help. Even when I handed her bread and butter to go into the second bag, she didn’t want to take it. In the end, she closed the window without even a proper goodbye. The entire interaction left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. I’ve been a loyal customer of Texas Roadhouse for a long time, but this kind of service is unacceptable. I don’t know if her attitude stemmed from bias or from me not leaving a large tip (I rounded my $68 order to $70), but either way, no customer should be treated poorly. Tipping on to-go orders is optional, and kindness should never depend on it. I did call the store afterward and spoke to the manager, Ishmael, who assured me the issue would be addressed. I truly hope it is, because customer service matters. If employees don’t like their job, they should seek another not take it out on paying customers. You never know what someone is going through, and a little respect and kindness goes a long way.

After going back and forth with the waitress and manager I asked the waitress to have my food to go. The problem: 1 . steak wasn’t cooked right 2. Waitress told me that I couldn’t get another beer because the keg went out. I asked to bring me a different beer and she said the bar was closing (10:30pm) also other tables were being serve alcohol. Manager said that the waitress shouldn’t had told us that I couldn’t order another drink. 3. Waitress said she was talking to the manager about my food situation and she didn’t. 4. I asked to have my food to go because apparently the waitress needed to go out to a bar with her friends “girls night” she said 5. I asked a different waitress if I could speak to the manager. Manager comes and she was very kind. She did took off the meal because I told her I wasn’t happy with service. 6. Waitress forgot to bring my side of mashed potatoes and when she brings it to me the lid was marked with “don’t touch” also it was cold I felt sick to my stomach because the only thing I can think of is that the kitchen staff did something horrible to the mash potatoes. I lost trust of this establishment. I feel like the waitress spit on my mash potatoes or something horrible they do to the food for the people that complaint to the manager. I end up throwing away the food. I’m attaching a copy of the receipt so the owner can

Expect to wait in a long line to check in, a process further elongated by waiting in line to receive a buzzer. Even if you opt for the online check-in, be prepared to join the line for a buzzer, nullifying the convenience of the digital option. However, once seated, the experience took a positive turn. The service at Texas Roadhouse was nothing short of amazing, with attentive and friendly staff adding a pleasant touch to the dining experience. Moreover, the wait seemed forgivable as soon as the food arrived – each dish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. Despite the initial wait, the exceptional service and deliciously prepared food make Texas Roadhouse a worthwhile destination for those willing to endure a bit of patience for a satisfying dining experience.
