This place is a red hot mess. I'm actually a little shocked that it's still in business because it seems to be in complete disarray.
My wife and I went here on a double date and hoped it would be good because it was recommended by a mutual friend who I'd now like to have evaluated for mental illness. The waiting area is a mess, the staff was cold and behaved almost as if they were irritated to have customers. There were several people (maybe family of the staff) strewn about, just hanging around. The dining area is dated and you can hardly hear yourself think let alone talk over the TVs loudly blazing novelas (soap operas). The food was so forgettable that I literally have no recollection of what any of us ate. I just remember bland flavored chunks of grizzly beef and that's it. It couldn't have been later than 8pm when they started putting chairs up. No thriving restaurant closes that early on a Friday night so I have no idea what's going on there.
There are many hole in the wall restaurants that are absolute gems (hello Aroy'd) but this place felt more like we were interrupting an annoyed family while eating bland food in their messy...
Read moreOn 2/24/2022 at 1pm the Restaurant was NOT busy we were 4 customers. I sat down with a friend and during my lunch hour ordered my meal directly with the owner. I was the first to order. My meal never arrived but my friend's did. I waited for my meal and when the receipt showed up realized my meal was not coming. The owner never came out to apologize she sent instead a waitress to apologize by telling me that the misunderstanding and error was my fault because I TALK TOO MUCH and that they have never made a mistake before until I (the real problem) showed up. My parents owned a successful restaurant and this is NOT how you treat customers. You simply say "I'm so sorry for the error" and offer the food to go. You don't say "Maybe the owner didn't understand your English" I explained that I spoke to her in Spanish. And you NEVER EVER say "Well we would have offered you something but you were talking to your friend and you don't shut up". The service is LAUGHABLE. A lesson to the operators: IN AMERICA-- THE CUSTOMER IS...
Read moreAfter reading all the good reviews, I decided to try Patricia's out. I arrived alone at around 7 for dinner. Despite the door chime, no one greeted me. The restaurant had 2 other parties that consisted of 3 people total -- surely, the staff were not busy. In fact, the staff were nowhere to be seen. I waited for a few minutes and sat myself down. A waitress finally brought me a menu and eventually took my order. She brought me a pitcher of water but didn't pour it into the glass. She also didn't ask if I wanted a straw until my dish was served. It was odd. She did, however, stay on top of topping me off with salsa and chips. The dish was great. I finished and she promptly brought me the check right after asking whether I needed anything else, to which I answered, 'No.' I paid for my meal and she said, 'See you next time!' I had to laugh to myself. There won't be a next time because poor service is a deal breaker. Just because I'm eating alone, it doesn't mean you can slack. Get it together and make sure your service reflects...
