Upon arriving at B-Rox Grill and Swill, we found the establishment surprisingly quiet and mostly empty. The hostess suggested a small table near the entrance, but instead we asked for a high top for our group of six. The hostess responded with a dismissive “I guess,” setting a negative tone from the start.

The table we were seated at was sticky, and the entire place felt uncomfortably hot and muggy. Given the recent heatwave, it was disappointing that the air conditioning wasn’t on to make the dining experience more pleasant.

Our waitress, Lizzy, took our drink orders but vanished afterward. We waited 20 minutes before going to the bar ourselves, only to find out from the bartender that our drinks had been ready for 15 minutes. Lizzy’s absence and lack of communication were frustrating.

When our nachos arrived, they were covered in cheese, despite our specific request for cheese on the side. We then waited another 20 minutes for a salad that arrived with our main courses, not before, and with the wrong dressing.

The chicken wings were another letdown, coming out burnt and tougher than expected. Additionally, we had asked for light cheese on our kid’s pizza, but it was clear from the photo we took that it had extra cheese instead.

Throughout the meal, our waitress rarely checked in on us. When we finally expressed our concerns to Lizzy, she brushed us off with an eye roll and a sarcastic “that’s my bad, can I get you anything else” before walking away.

Overall, our experience at B-Rox Grill and Swill was highly disappointing. The service was inattentive, the food was poorly prepared, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. We hope management addresses these issues to improve future diners’...

We went on a Saturday at 7:30pm. No wait was nice. They were busy enough but not overwhelming to where we couldn't get a table. We got sat at a wobbly table and the lighting isn't too bright but the way it angles at your table it bounces off the menu and hits in the eye 😂 For appetizers I was excited to try the pickle wontons and he loves tater tots so he chose the loaded tots. The pickle wontons have that jalapeño popper flavor but Dill. I wish it came with a side of the Chipotle sauce to dip in instead of lightly on the plate. The tots were ok. The chicken on it didn't taste too good with not much flavor and the fear was that's what was on my entree, which I was right. Entrees: I got the Chipotle chicken cheesesteak which I thought the whole thing was dry. Lacked sauce and not too much moisture in the pulled chicken. His entree was the Fiesta chicken sandwich which was WAY better than mine. Good flavor and moist chicken. I ordered garlic parm fries while he ordered the chili cheese fries and as you can tell by the pictures, we did NOT get that even though we got charged the extra $2 per dish for them. BUT the fries were the best part of the meal. Hot, crispy, seasoned well. It was very loud in there, but it is a bar type restaurant. 8pm starts a band on Saturday when they have 1 so be aware of that. As they put up the lights from their setup, they kept hitting me in my eyes, so my boyfriend kept repositioning himself so I wasn't blinded by strobe lights. Probably would be better to visit in warmer weather when the outside is open. Our server...

Great restaurant to visit for some great food. We went on a Saturday night, around 6 pm. There were a couple college football games going on that night, so the restaurant was pretty full, as was the parking lot. We had reservations, so that helped. TVs just about everywhere, including the men's room, so no worries about missing anything. The service was a little slow, but I'm sure it was due to the place being busy. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was great. I never had sweet potato puffs (basically sweet potato tater tots) before, and those were great. I don't typically like sweet potato fries, but these were way better. I had a chicken club sandwich on sourdough toast. It was a large sandwich, so I just ate half and my side, and I was good for the night. I ate the other half at home the next day, still delicious. I got the Cesar salad as my side and it came with cranberries. Never had that before, but it was good as well. Everyone else said their food was great as well. Definitely large portions. Great portions for the price you pay. I've been to other bar type restaurants and paid double and got less food. The restaurant was "restaurant loud", so not too loud, but like a busy restaurant with pretty good tunes playing loud. I didn't feel like I had to yell at people to talk to them, so that was nice. I would/will definitely go again. I just hope they get one closer to where I live soon, so I don't have to drive so far...

Uodate: Didn't like the sliders. Cubano was awful. The spicy mustard tasted like the hit mustard packets from your local Chinese take out and bacon is no substitute for the type of pork that should be on a cubano. Beef was ok and the oulled pork was good but nothing special. The sweet bbq wings were way to spicy. Tots and sweet pot tots were not as good as what you can get at the grocery. Onion rongs were good though. I had this southwestern bowl which was admittedly very tasty with grits, pico, guac n thin supposed prime rib. Another had southwest salad w shrimp that ws also excellent. The tenders were very good. The HUGE issus is that the service is horrifically slow and inattantive for the seating area. We waited over 30.minutes for thins that take no longer than 10 AND the only others eating were already served. This is twice now. Im done.
