Compadres Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ohio

We waited over an hour for our food to find out the waitress forgot to put our order in. Everyone around us was being served food that arrived after us. No one ever came over to let us know they forgot or something went wrong or apologize. They just tried to hide it. They told us a manager would be over and they never came, we had to ask twice for one. When the manager came she explained the waitress was new and made a mistake but didn’t offer to fix the problem. We thought the manager agreed to at least give 50% off but said no I said 15% and it needed up not even being that. She even asked us if we ate all of our food? We said of course we were hungry by the time it came. It wasn’t a food taste issue, it was a management issue. They weren’t even busy at all. The looks we were getting were horrible, as if they were mad at us and we ended up only getting one meal free when in reality it should have all been free. They did not handle their mistake appropriately and it just got worse and worse. Very...

We ate lunch there on Monday. We were the only customers there. They had a TV on above our booth but no sound and there was no music on, the place was eerily quiet. 2 of us ordered beef fajitas, it came out on a plate, not a skillet so it was not sizzling. 2 of my tortillas were hard on the end. The rice was plain and under seasoned and the refried beans are refried beans....probably the best part of the meal. 1 of the guys at our table ordered a taco salad and asked for shrimp to be added to it. He got the shrimp but there was no ground beef. Apparently the waitress misunderstood the request. The salsa and chips were tasty though...we were hoping for a bit more salsa as we all liked it and finished it off. As we were standing up to leave, they turned the music on....go figure. We will stick to Don Tequilas...

We had to wait to be seated, which was fine, but then we had to wait a while before getting our drink order in. Then waited for the drinks once we got those they took our food order which then took about 40 minutes. They were a bit busy but nothing they shouldn't have been able to handle since most of the foods are preparedahead of time and just need plated. We got there little after 640 and we left at 845. I wouldn't have minded but I was not expecting to wait so long on our food. My daughter was so hungry by time the food go here she had eaten too many chips and only ate some taco meat. I will say our food was warm and tasted good, but nothing fancy about it. It just took longer for simple dishes with rice and beans that are already made in back to add to the dishes we ordered.
