I ordered a blizzard through DoorDash. When it arrived, I realized fairly quickly that it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered S’mores Blizzard with extra ingredients (up charge whether it’s through DoorDash or if you’re standing in the restaurant in person). What I got was vanilla ice cream mixed with fudge filled chocolate. No graham cracker, no marshmallow, no pieces of Hershey chocolate. I called the store to inform them that I got the wrong order and the manager informed me that any refund would have to go through DoorDash. I drove up to the store to have it replaced in person as I wasn’t interested in a refund, but I still wanted my food. When I walked up to the counter and explained what was going on to the young lady working there, she told me they were using the fudge filled pieces of chocolate instead of the Hershey’s chocolate because they didn’t have any more Hershey’s chocolate and they also didn’t have any graham cracker. When I asked about the marshmallow that was also missing, she responded with “I can get the manager for you“. The manager comes walking over, all of maybe 20-years-old, and tells me again that they are using the fudge filled chocolate instead of regular Hershey’s chocolate and that they had a graham cracker base, but no regular graham cracker for the ingredients. He assured me they had marshmallow but didn’t know why there was no marshmallow in mine. I said “so you’re missing most of the ingredients for a S’mores Blizzard but you’re still selling them as though you have the ingredients?” The manager replied that if I wanted a refund, I would have to go through DoorDash. I asked why it would be DoorDash‘s problem that you didn’t have the proper ingredients. I understand that sometimes DoorDash has things on their menu that aren’t available in the store, but that isn’t the case here. They are selling S’mores Blizzards from their counter, and through DoorDash, as though they have all the ingredients, so that’s not the fault of DoorDash. To add icing on the cake (pardon the pun), on their menu in the restaurant there is a “sold out“ tag over the cotton candy Blizzard option. So, they were out of ingredients for two Blizzards, but decided to pass off a makeshift version of one to sell?! Knowing I wouldn’t get a refund for any of their bait-and-switch tactic, I told the manager I would accept his offer of a different flavor Blizzard. The manager went around the corner to make the Blizzard himself, and was standing at the machine for no longer than 10 seconds total, which anybody who has ever had a Blizzard before knows it takes longer than that to mix a large Blizzard, and brought it around to the counter and put it down on the side of the counter closest to him (furthest from me) and said, “here“ and turned around and walked away. Really disappointed with this whole...
Read moreDo NOT order a Moolatte, or anything blended from here. My Moolatte tasted like nothingness, not coffee, not mocha, nothing. The girl took it back and fixed it, it "looked" closer to what it should look like, but it still was not what I expect when I order a mocha Moolatte. The North Lima DQ makes them perfect every time, not sure what recipe this one is following, but it's gross. On top of this, and we didn't know this until we were driving down the road, my daughter's NutterButter milkshake had chopped bits of M&M's, Oreo pieces, and peanuts...I mean, wth? Personally, that made me picture a filthy kitchen with machines not being cleaned between uses and random bits of toppings everywhere. The only redeeming thing was the food, but who really goes to a DQ for the food? I will NOT be back to this one, I'll drive a little farther and get my treats made the right way, without missing OR added...
Read moreI usually absolutely NEVER do reviews, but I just had an experience that was pretty rude. My family and I went to this Dairy Queen, we got honey barbecue chicken tenders meal, pretzels, a milkshake, and a blizzard. We realized that the chicken tender meal was a honey mustard, so we went back, kindly asked for a new box, paid the difference, no attitude. When we went to pay that was all fine. We paid, told the girl to keep the change, and went to the window where we would get our food. Then we get to the food window, a girl who is slightly chubby reddish brown hair, says to another person (who just took our money) “Did you charge her extra?”. Again, we weren’t rude, obnoxious, said they were in the wrong, nothing. Just asked for an upgrade. She also rolled her eyes. The food and other staff are nice, I wish I could just report that one person, but...
