My wife is a local business owner, who has bought hundreds of cakes from Eston’s for clients, friends, and family over the last several years. Recently, we ordered a raspberry royale wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding. After driving across the country for her wedding and slicing the cake on her special day, we realized that the cake was not the flavor we ordered. They gave us a strawberry cake not a raspberry cake. On a normal occasion we would let this slide but considering it was my daughter’s wedding we confronted the owner. She told us we were wrong and that they changed their recipe, sending photos of the raspberry royale that didn’t even match the color of our cake. As someone who bought the raspberry royale and the strawberry cake several times in the previous weeks, we would know the difference between their strawberry and rasberry cakes. Rather than taking accountability for their actions, Eston’s management shows horrible customer service, calling their customers liars even after eating their cakes more than they do. This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and if I could have given 0 stars I would have. WILL NOT RETURN. The people running Eston's lack any sense of professionalism and have no concept of what customer satisfaction...

We tried their cheesecake cupcake at a recent bridal show and we absolutely LOVED them! I booked a tasting and we were 5 minutes late, but called to let them know so they wouldn't think we were no-shows. Then we sat and waited for about 30 mins. while other customers walking in were being helped before us. They also only had about 4 flavors for us to try and could not even scrape up any of the flavors that we really wanted to try. The flavors that we did try were not as spectacular as I remembered them being at the show.

Since we live down in Columbus, the manager told us to just come back next time we're in town and he would make sure we would get to taste the flavors we missed. Luckily, I have a friend who was moving from Toledo to Columbus next week who offered to pick up samples for us to try. I called Estons and was told that they had discontinued 2 flavors- 1 we liked and 1 we really wanted to try. There was no mention of this at our tasting literally 5 days ago. I was also told to call them back the day that my friend would be stopping in so they could "check and see if they had anything available". My Daughter ordered cake for 250 guests for her wedding 4/13/24, the delivery people just dropped off the cakes never spoke to the Bride/Groom or a family member and left. Now the caterers went to cut and plate the cakes when they come get me to say there isn’t nearly enough cake they can get maybe 16-20 pieces out of each cake, they are 4 small rounds and one wedding cake with the same size small round and an anniversary cake on top all cakes frosted plain white no decor….$465 Now we are frantically calling the bakery that is closed until Tuesday so a guest goes to Sams club and buys cupcakes!!! First of all check in with the Bride or a family member when delivering abundant second cake was ordered for 250 guests NOT 150 and I get a voicemail saying all the cakes are round but yet her friend used the same bakery last year and they were all full rectangle sheet cakes and the website states they sell 1/2 sheet cakes but the production manager leaves me a voicemail saying they only make round cakes. This was so much unnecessary stress on a wedding day and completely unacceptable.I would highly recommend choosing another bakery if you want to avoid the stress and would like to actually see cakes when...
