Foods good, JUST make sure that if THEY mess up, you don't tell them that they did, EVEN IF it's not only been a few (SEPERATE) times, but, ever at all. They not only don't want to replace the order, let alone, treat you w/respect.
Backstory context: They have young highschool-college kids that work there, so, accidents are BOUND to happen, & that's fine, everyone is human, & makes mistakes. I have usually done JJ occasionally, but, bot often, & usually spaced out in time. They have great fresh bread & food, but, their customer service, is less than subpar.
First mistake: (pretty simple, & wasn't even annoyed/upset). Went through the drive thru, & found out there was a mistake, & went in after realizing it. The manager at the time, gave me attitude, & even though I wasn't hostile, let alone even annoyed, or showed any emotion like that, & EVEN GAVE RE-ASSURANCE, that it was OK, I was treated as if I was an inconvenience for asking them to make my child's order w/no tomato like it said on the receipt, over again. Mind you, it was a simple re-make, I was interrogated as if I had hid a tomato, & put it on the sandwich, & I went out of my way to ruin her day?! Whatever, let it go, moved on w/my life.
Second mistake (5-6 weeks later) (had ate from them again since prior incident): Spent almost $50 for subs to be missing (up charged) ingredients, & for the ones to be made wrong, along w/missing desserts we had bought/paid for. Took photos as well to prove that they were missing, & was refunded by owner. Never asked for a refund, it was just 'voided out' since I couldn't leave my shift, & it was another coworker who had picked up the order, even though it was under my name.
THIRD MISTAKE: Ordered about $30 worth of food to pickup through the drive thru, otw home from work, & picking up my children, to realize that I had forgotten to get my bottles of pop, & they had forgotten to give it to me as well, along w/my usual sub & cookie. Called back up, & they told me that they would give me a re-make next time I came through, & I was fine w/that. Considering that I have spent MORE than enough at that establishment, for YEARS, & have always gotten party trays for them, I have tried not to be upset time & time again from THEIR mistakes, & the other JJ that is in short distance, is still 30+ from MY residence, & OPPOSITE direction. The closest one to that store (at the time at least), was/is still, about 15 minutes away, give or take, & as a single parent of 4, getting home is more important. Came through for the remake, & was given the NASTIEST experience of it all. Not only was the food mishandled, the staff was rude, & un-professional. I waited in the drive thru 47 minutes, & was ignored after the first 20 mins when I asked if it would be done soon, after having had the re-make order placed 30+ mins prior to me coming.
I didn't go back at that point for almost 3 months, when, I went to stop after placing the order for my boss, through my app (since her phone was dead), before heading into work (I am a ER nurse), to be told when coming up to the window, that I have been 86'd*, & that they will not be refunding me the cost of the order, even though they did not give me my actual order. I have not used that location after that, & was outraged. Still, did not retaliate, & did not cuss them out, or use any hostility like I wanted to do, until NOW.
I have SINCE used that location, when I heard that it was under different management, & ALL has been fine, after a YEAR of me not eating from that location (I would only make the trip out to the other one, if I weren't rushed for time, & was in the area, & didn't have a deadline). Still inconvenient, nonetheless.

Read moreI have been ordering from this Jimmy John’s for upwards of at least 4 years, several times a week. My order tonight would have been my 6 or 7th time this month plus my co workers order from here regularly. I placed an order this evening 2/29/24 and then received a call from a manager that their driver refuses to bring my delivery because there was no tip on the order and did I have cash for a tip. I always put tips on every order. So I looked and realized it was not on they but I was just very surprised that a manager demands a tip in the 1st place. So I then say I alway tip and she then tells me I never tip that she has my order history up she then hung up on me. So I call back and ask about her hanging up on me and she tells me she is allowed to hang up on customers. I then looked at my order history and my last 5 orders, that’s as far as it would let me go back, every single one had a tip. She then says well I am not talking about those orders just the one for today which she talked about my passed order so I was just correcting her about the wrong information about the tips. So she says well do you want this if so you can come and get it. If I recall tips are not required but definitely appreciate it. I normally order the something every time with total tip tax it’s always $17.70 but I ordered something different this time so I didn’t realize it was not on there because it was something different here is my order history as well as my tip history. I said, "okay, can I have that without the cucumbers and add extra mayo, please". She said that I could only get meat and cheese, no extras. I even clarified with her, that I could not add any mayo, because I this was a first that I have ever been told I couldn't add mayo. I was dumbfounded when she said I couldn't add a condiment.
