Johnnie's Bakery of Canton — Restaurant in Ohio

My absolute favorite stand alone bakery in North Canton. They do incredible cakes, cookies, and donuts. I don't think I have ever had a pastry here I didn't like. Their icing is second to none! I've had birthday cakes from Johnnie's for as long as I can remember. They also do events/weddings...and if you think the birthday cakes are great you wouldn't believe the custom wedding cakes! Overall it's an incredible local bakery and I highly recommend you make a visit. One side note...they have a 10.00 minimum on credit card...

I just found this place recently and decided to try based on all the good reviews. But I’m very disappointed. The maple cream sticks were very dense and chewy. The ends were actually hard to bite through. They tasted stale and maybe previously frozen. The cream was a basic crisco tasting filling. Best donuts in the Akron Canton area. Just wish I didn't live 30 minutes from them, but totally worth the drive! Since moving here from Indianapolis, we had struggled to find GOOD donuts at a GOOD price.
