Wedgewood Fernando's Pizza — Restaurant in Ohio

Called for pickup at 7:30 pm. Girl on the phone was friendly but seemed rushed. We ordered a square shaped 16” pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. I even asked the girl ok the phone how many slices come on a round 16” and the square 16” to clarify.

We showed up at 7:32 pm. The girl didn’t even say hello when we walked in even though she looked right at us. She didn’t ask how she could help us. I had to approach the counter and she stared at me and then I initiated the conversation and said I had an order for pickup. I told her the name and then she proceeded to say it wasn’t ready yet. Ok maybe running a couple minutes behind, no big deal. After sitting in the lobby for another 15 minutes and watching three other guests get served it was now 7:50 pm. The girl eventually looked over at my fiancée and I and asked our name again. After telling her she realized our pizza had been ready a couple minutes ago and she forgot to tell us. Which is strange because we sat in the lobby the entire 15 minutes we were waiting and she looked at us repeatedly so I don’t know how she forgot we were waiting for an order. When we got home we realized the pizza was round, not square like we ordered. The pepperonis were also haphazardly placed on top at the last minute. We could tell because the cheese was not melted around them or over them. The pepperonis were burnt to a crisp and cracked like potato chips when we bit into them. Overall highly disappointed in all aspects of this experience. Wedgwood used to be good. The staff was all young kids who seemed to not care about the quality or reputation of the business at all. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! I don’t know the name of these two girls that work here but last night on 10/08/23 between 7:40-8:30 pm we ordered our pizza to go and we were sitting in the car waiting and my brother went inside to wait there was a blonde girl worker or a workers friend with a low pony tail sitting on the bench and just started at him and pointing at him and laughed and she stood up and just staired at him the whole time while he was sitting there and shook her hands up in the air to the other workers behind the desk. He then came outside and stood and the girl sitting there stood up to see what he was doing and laughed out and kept bending over to stair at him and pointed at him and gave dirty looks. Then another worker with brown hair in a high pony tail came and pretended to clean to stair and I kid you not she stood there for about 2 mins straight and just stood there staring at him dead in the face and gave him the ugliest look. Then walked away. My mother went in to pay and asked why they were looking at him like that and he was with us waiting for our food and I kid you not she said “ we just don’t want him walking around”. This was the most disturbing strange service I’ve ever experienced! And whoever the owners are really need to watch what howland high snobs they hire because it’s really going to make them lose service! The owners to to watch the cameras from that time last night and look how they’re employees treat their customers! And get some new ones! This behavior was disgusting! Will never be...

Here we have a nice restaurant that I couldn't get a parking place at on Thursday August 18th at 7:30 because all the idiots from the school that went to the Ball Game hogged up all the parking areas. The Howland Police Department won't take responsibility to have these cars towed for illegal parking on private property! There should be an officer posted there during games and if the people don't buy or go into the restaurant for supper then they should be told to leave or ticketed or towed there are plenty of options ! So this restaurant cannot have any customers Park in their private parking lot.. The Howland police are doing nothing somewhere else! But they don't have a problem getting 15% off when they eat at this restaurant! We prefer Fernando's pizza to all Warren pizza shops. Wedgwood is a weekly visit do to it's diversity in location,and Mrs.Hovaks sauce. That is the lady that Fernando got the recipe from.
