Redneck Dance Hall — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I was highly disappointed in Redneck last night. We usually love going to Redneck because it's one of the few bars that allows country swing aerial dancing in the city. They should have been ashamed in themselves on how their property looks now a days. When we walked in last night the floors were filthy, almost like they hadn't cleaned them in weeks. The bathrooms were horrible. I know cleaning toilets is the last thing anyone wants to do but when girls don't even want to use them how do you expect to keep them as clients. The dance floor is getting bad. I used to joke that Sooner Corals dance floor was the worst in the city but Redneck is giving them a run for their money. Also, the staff needs to do a better job in keeping the dance floor empty of the kids who just stand there and talk. They may still be in high school but if you want to keep dancers coming you need to kick them off the dance floor so we can use the whole dance floor.

The bartender is amazing. Not only is she fast and efficient she is very friendly and at least for me she remembers me every time I walk up so I don't have to keep saying what card I'm under all night long. I can't comment on the cleanliness of the bar ware cause I only get long necks but if her professionalism has any indicator I would bet she keeps a pretty tight bar area. Also, the DJ does a great job. I would personally like more country being played but I understand that the rap gets the woman on the dance floor. He also gets cudos for playing Sam Hunt. Great job. Security does a pretty good job as well. They have there hands tied with all the people under 21 not drinking but they are pretty attentive of what's going on through out the bar and are pretty pro active when it comes to confrontations.

This bar has a lot of potential and I would hate to see it go down hill because of the few things that not only will drive my business to Places like moonshiners but I would assume others have the same complaints. On a side note can we do something about the cover. I understand that you have to make profit especially being a 18 and over bar but can you give us 21+ a break because I would rather pay a little more in Beer and liquor then $10 at the door. It appears the AC breaks at the end of the night because it was well over 90*inside. Which wouldn’t be a problem if they let you get water at the bar but that isn’t an option. When asked why the bar tenders are extremely rude. The bartenders told me “if we give water out how will we make money off of it?”. For the cover they charge water cups can be provided. You have to buy Walmart water bottles at a specific bar for 2 dollars a piece. They won’t give you a cup of water like any other bar in OKC. If you leave to go to your car to drink your own water you’re charged a 5 dollar recently fee.

The dancers are highschool aged who do not mind themselves when on the floor. They will intentionally run into you and act like it’s your fault. For a bar named “redneck” the dance floor will randomly just shift into a bump and grind you’d see at High-school prom for 30 min at a time.

I would not recommend this bar to anybody who wants to have an enjoyable 2step experience or an average line...

I just move to OKC and wanted to find a nice bar to go to in my area where I live . Since I been cowboys once before and I do like But I wanted to find a different spot (I hate going to the same spot every weekend). So I was googling clubs and bars in my area and scene this place . So the weekend came around and there I went . 1st thing I need to do is tell a little about my self . Im an older black male from another state and I did not know this club was 18 and up . I must say I had a good time . The bartender was nice and cool , the bouncer wasn’t rude . That is a plus . Prices for drink Ok , while not super pack , it’s was a nice crowd. And it was alot of young pretty ladies there , if that is your thing . But over all not bad for my 1st time there. I Will go again .
