Went to dinner after a movie @730pm Saturday 3/30/19 at this Chili's. Walked in and after about 5 minutes the girl at the door returned from seating someone and were told it would about a 15 minute wait. We asked if we could sit in the bar and was told there were no tables available...we could clearly see 5 tables with no one at them. We suggested the one closest to us...right where she was standing...she said ok. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress after a few minutes and took our drink order. I got up and went to the bathroom and it was filthy...pee on the floor...no soap in either soap dispenser. On my way back to our table noticed about 15 empty tables that made me wonder why the 15 minute wait at the door. There was trash and food on the floor everywhere. Got back to the table and ordered an appetizer and our meal. After about 10 minutes a kid brought our meal on a platter. I had ordered broccoli which came on my plate inside a ziplock bag. The kid said they forgot the broccoli on this order and took it back to kitchen. A few minutes later someone else came back with our order. We asked about the appetizer and told him to just cancel it since we already had our meals. So my girlfriend had ordered a burger and she cut it in half and it was medium rare. The waitress came by and I told her my girlfriend's burger was not cooked. The waitress said that's how they are all cooked... unless you specify you want it cooked completely and that she would take it back. She states some of things on the menu have changed and I said alot of things have changed on the menu! So I sit there with my plate of food and she has none. In a few minutes our "cancelled" appetizer arrives and the waitress said they are cooking a whole new burger for her. Well...I hope so! So after about 10 minutes the cooked burger shows up. We finish our meal and the waitress says we can pay with the electronic kiosk and says you DO know how to use it! I grab it and had planned on paying with cash...guess what...it only accepts plastic and no mention anywhere about the option of paying with cash! Our bill was $37 and change...I left 2 -20s on the table and told my girlfriend "lets go"! During our time there we saw numerous employees either standing around doing nothing or 2 employees standing on the waiting seats by the front door attempting to take pictures of a group of about 8-10 of their family members that were leaving the place. Not a good experience for us and we will definitely look elsewhere for a place to get dinner! Chili's used to be good...but since your "ever-changing" menu and lack of quality service and filthy restaurant...we...
Read moreI try to not post negative reviews, and beings that I was in the restaurant industry for 12 years, I’m usually VERY patient and understanding. However, this was the worst experience I have had in a long time. We went for my boyfriends 36th birthday with a few friends, and we’re immediately greeted by the host. (He was awesome and I wish I would have caught his name) then our server came, he was very nice, I will say that! Our food came out before we received our drinks (29 mins to be exact) we mentioned the drinks and was told oh, I don’t know where the bartender is. Ten minutes later we just said never mind, then he told us they were ready, we still declined. The food runners were very rude, did not take the time to listen to me explain that the order was wrong, 3 of our 6 orders were incorrect. As she put my vegetable fajitas down I asked her if that was cheese on top, she said “it’s our cojita” and I said oh no! I don’t eat dairy, I asked for none, she rolled her eyes, said nothing, and walked back to the kitchen. I received my food after everyone had finished theirs, and it was awful to say the least. The server sent the manager to our table to drop off my food, and he was about as worthless as could be. He dropped it off, said nothing, except when I asked him why there was a veggie patty on the fajitas, and he said it was to be like meat, I asked if it was vegan, and he said umm it’s soy and corn and stuff, and walked off. No apology or anything. I told the server ( who was still very nice at this point) how disappointed I was in our experience, and how instead of having some drinks, and spending more money, and having a good time, we were so frustrated we all just decided to go home. He said he was sorry and got another manager, who never apologized, he literally took only my meal off and handed me the check. I will NEVER return to this and probably any chili’s. Really ruined...
Read moreTERRIBLE SERVICE! We arrived just before 7:00 pm, there was nobody waiting and lots of empty tables, but there was not a host or hostess in sight. We waited almost 10 minutes, during which time 4 other parties came through the door, but still,, no one came to greet us. Two of us who were waiting went to the back to ask for someone to seat us and still had to wait a few more minutes. Once seated, it took a few minutes for our server to come and take our drink order (2 waters). He brought the waters soon enough, but set them down very abruptly and dashed off saying something about getting back to us. He was obviously VERY stressed out. We waited at least another 10 minutes and he never came back to take our order, so we moved to the bar, because the bartender seemed to be giving his customers attention...or so we thought. When we sat at the bar, right in front of where the bartender was busily washing glasses, he told us it would "be a few minutes" before he could get to us, and continued washing glasses. We sat watching him for a few minutes before I asked him where we needed to sit to actually get some service. He was just as stressed out as our original server and went on to tell us how busy they were, and that they had been busy all day, and that nobody was intentionally ignoring us, and that the table behind us hadn't been helped either, and... So we got up and left. Mind you, during this whole time, there was an older (45ish) gentleman, who looked like he was probably a manager, standing just inside the kitchen area talking on his cell phone, while all of his people were going crazy and customers were not getting served. We have been Chili's fans for many, many years, but this was our first time to the Belle Isle Chili's and we have never had an experience this bad at ANY other Chili's in any...
