Chino's Mexicano — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I recently had the pleasure of checking out Chino's Mexicano during their soft opening, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The people taking my order were very attentive, taking the time to explain the menu in detail and offering fantastic suggestions on what to try. The food was a highlight. The chicken fried rice empanadas were absolutely amazing—they had a depth of flavor that was truly unexpected and delicious. The green hot sauce is a definite must-try; it's a perfect blend of heat and flavor. The only minor note was on the shrimp tacos. While the shrimp tasted great, they were a bit watery, which made the bottom tortilla soggy. I'm guessing it was from the pico de gallo, but it was the only small hiccup in an otherwise perfect meal. Cute spot - first time trying with a work colleague. I ordered the chicken tacos - they are absolutely delicious 😋 highly recommend. However, my friend ordered the beef burrito- there is a very off-putting flavor on their beef...I cannot place it but it is horrible. After one bite she determined she couldn't eat it and asked the young lady at the counter if she could exchange for the chicken tacos (which again, are fantastic) - the young lady took the burrito and returned to the table she said - "We will exchange it since this is your first time here but we will not do it again!" Excuse me???? Its not like she ate more then one bite...is the expectation to pay for and ear something that tastes bad??? Bad customer service. If you want return customers - do...

This place is such a special gem! I’m visiting from out of state and we stumbled across this restaurant, saw that it was crowded so we decided to try it out and I’m glad we did. Everything was delicious! My absolute favorite dish was the Beef Consome Ramen yummmm!! I also tried the Mexican Egg Rolls, wings, and shrimp tacos. It was all soooo good!! You have to try it, such a fun and unique twist on these dishes. The service was also awesome, the owners were so fun and welcoming! cries I was literally too busy enjoying myself I forgot to take pics 🥲 I’m def gonna miss this place.. until next time 🥹 Highly recommend checking...
