Read moreBecause of the comment from the facility on December 28, I provided response. My original comment posted and was about dining in, in days prior to Dec 23, 2024. Has catering and will take orders to be delivered Dec 24, 2024 by 2 pm. So must contact Ms. Durbin before as the catering and online order person to get this for this holiday Their recipes have stayed the same, but I DK if they are still using a pit and this makes all the difference. Many BBQ are now forced smoke which eliminated the cook off to hear and char at the end. Popular location. No alcohol. Good music. Has TV. Many locals in getting stuff are walking up from the neighborhood! This is a common place to come for work lunch or family gatherings or after work or after the game. In the PM this is table side service In December 28,2024 I received a rebuttal to my review, which you as any customer or owner of Earl's may not be able to see accusing me of never having eaten in this restaurant ever, much less at the point of this review. Literally, a staff indicated she was Ms. Durbin, and passed the business card below, so if this person has not worked there for 11 years, then staff there might need new business cards or other help with things at this site, you the unnamed rebuttal person replying for this restaurant. I was also asked what I personally was gaining by leaving this above review. The person who responded wants you to know this pit is active at this restaurant. That the front entrance meets all City and county safety codes at all hours of the day. That children are offered coloring pages and crayons and that all sides are made on site daily. This business is free to block my review. Or to consider these things and work to solve or improve. Threatening any neighbors or customers as any reviewer is an interesting reply. I hope my provided receipt, and this business card, which indicates exactly my server was Annie D. And then this business card help you as any owner or manager clarify who was at this facility by whatever means you choose. 12/17/2024 is the date of my receipt. Let me know if you require other credentials or proof as any long-term customer noting the...
Read moreFirst I want to say this was my first and last time I will eat here. Gonna go over what I felt was wrong.
The line to order food is a narrow walkway and people have to move to and from the counter in this narrow area. Who thought that was a good idea to crowd customers like that?
I had never eaten here before, so I decided to order Earl's Binge but with polish sausage instead of hotlinks. When the food arrived it was this massive pile of food that was just thrown on. The corn was literally a full ear, but was dry and undercooked. Looked like it was out a while and then reheated, but no butter? You know what wasn't undercooked though? The meat! The ribs I could barely eat 1 because they were so dry, I couldn't eat any of the brisket, it was so overcooked it was inedible. That's fine though because bbq sauce right? Arguably the worst sauce I have ever tasted. I tried the hot first and literally grimaced, it was awful.
Speaking of sauce though, it was pretty difficult to do anything with sauce, because this tiny plate had a big pile of food on it. Are we supposed to stand the corn on its end to get it out of the way?
Overall, I wouldn't even give this place 1 star if possible. Sucks I spent so much money and didn't even eat half my food because it was so bad.
Do not recommend/ will...
