We used to eat here 2 to 3 times a day. Great food and price. When we first started the service was great as were the wait staff. For some reason that started to decline and there were constant changes in wait staff. All the good, experienced friendly staff was gone. Replaced by younger to a degree, but younger in being nice, questions. The entire organization changed, with the exception of the food. Great food always and continued. No change as far as we knew.. The final straw was minor but enough tti break the straw. The greeter had no personality, he was young, working two doors one on either side of the building and it was a busy Saturday breakfast morning with the expected fairly busy line on both doors. The greeter took no notes, names, he would simply point to the next person. Right or wrong they were the next seated. We watch with a little humor as to the people being seated and those of us waiting and grumbling. Finally it was our turn, we knew but l don't know what the greeter knew, but when we pointed this out the person beside us was seated. This happened three more times from both sides of the building. We knew he ignoring us and he knew we knew. So with no scene, no words and no Jeff in the building we turned and left. Returned one more time at a small dinner crowd. I We attempted to talk with someone during our meal, but there was just no one with authority . We paid, said thanks and good bye. Have never...
Read moreJeff's Country Cafe is a cheap dive and that's not something that counts against this place. The breakfast is fast a delicious and the coffee keeps flowing as long as needed. My family and I have been there three times now and we are going to keep coming back. The first reason we came here is because the Airport closed. I'm glad we explored and tried a new place because I have a feeling we are going to keep coming back. I got a steak and eggs breakfast for under ten dollars. I am not going to say it was the best steak I have ever had obviously you get what you pay for but none the less it was good and the biscuits and gravy are excellent and the hash browns are just about perfect the three times I have gotten them. Also the coffee keeps flowing. I finally took a picture of my meal eating it which is the chile cheese omelette. The chile was good and wasn't overly salty which is something you will run into when you order cheap chile. I have tried the pancakes they were delicious. They are what my eight year old daughter typically enjoys. And all an amazing dive to frequent and me and my family...
Read moreJust left this restaurant.I have never had the urge to do a review. First time coming here i wish I had gone to the restaurant next door but I like to support "family owned" business so I chose Jeff's. 1st..The coffee was the weakest I have ever had I used 2 little creamers and my coffee was white. 2nd.. I asked for eggs very very soft almost runny w/cheese and they were soft w/unnoticeable cheese.3rd..Pancakes looked great but they tasted half done. The waitress was very kind and attentive (I did tip her) What compelled me to write this is the owner (I'm guessing he was because he was elderly) when he asked me how everything was I mentioned that it was my first time and coffee was weak and pancakes tasted dough ish and he looked at me and took my money and said thank you! I had no problem in paying because it's the risk you take BUT the lack of acknowledgement or caring what your customer said was offensive to me and I won't be back or...
