Living in the Urban Core, it’s easy to forget about NW OKC. We chose to eat at Little Mike’s today entirely on a whim. “Let’s try this mom and pop place,” we said. Then we read the reviews. Prepare yourselves before you give Little Mike’s a try (if ever). Upon entering this tiny spot just off of Northwest Expressway the smell of grilled onions and “MADE IN AMERICA” beef will overwhelm you. Then you notice the environment. Pale mint walls, accents of dark green, old Norman Rockwell posters framed above aging booths, and far-right memes plastered on random cork boards and on any available surface. We were expecting this from the warnings of other reviewers. We even argued over whether or not we wanted to support someone with these beliefs by spending money at their establishment. Ultimately, we decided to go to witness for ourselves what other reviewers here likened to the chain messages sent by your crazy uncle. Inside, you’ll honestly be hard-pressed to find a soul under the age of social security benefits. Ironic, really. But we were greeted by friendly service and we had our order taken promptly. They have options like pink lemonade, a fixins bar, and the regular condiments. My caeser salad burger was good but the dressing was more similar to mayonnaise in consistency. My boyfriend had the hickory and liked it. We had fries and onion rings as sides. I thought the fries needed seasoning and were overly greasy, my boyfriend liked them, but the onion rings were perfect. All in all, pretty classic Oklahoma burger. Would I go back? I’m not sure. There are many burger joints in the Metro and none of them use political leanings or jokes about concentration camps as decor. I’ll have to think on it.

If you're looking for a unique dining experience that combines the charm of a small-town burger shop with a dash of political flair this is the place. This cozy eatery is adorned with an array of political posters that create an atmosphere that is both interesting and fun, transforming serious topics into light-hearted conversation starters. Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming environment. The cashier, a personable and polite gentleman, made our first visit memorable. He was more than happy to offer recommendations, which made navigating the menu a breeze. His friendly demeanor added to the overall experience, making us feel right at home. The burger itself was solid—juicy and flavorful, it hit all the right notes. However, what truly stood out was the bun. Soft yet sturdy, it perfectly complemented the patty without overshadowing it. One of the highlights of our meal was the onion rings. Highly recommended by the staff and other reviews, they did not disappoint! The unique batter gave them a delightful crunch, making them a must-try for anyone visiting. The fresh-cut fries were exactly what you’d expect. They’re fresh cut so not crunchy. Overall, is a fun spot that I would recommend checking out. The combination of great food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service makes it a perfect place to grab a bite. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this burger shop is definitely worth a visit!

My son and I eat around the town for burgers and if I was in the area, I would stop by, but if not, wouldn't go out of my way. Mid burger joint with a unique, Trump loving atmosphere that could be a fun visit for rights and easy going lefties that have a sense of humor. Pros: -Good bun that holds up to the burger. -Although not a Trump lover, the branding on the burger is fun and unique. -Fried Pie is solid, don't skimp. I like it better than Arbuckle's Fried Pies -Fried are homemade with a nice crisp -Homemade onion rings are crispy with a nice batter. Not my #1 favorite in town, but good enough to order again. Definitely get these with the fries. This is an order at the counter establishment and they call your name and you grab your food. Bring cash or the CC fee is passed on to you. I love this choice for restaurants. Cons: -The condiment bar to add your own toppings was a neat idea, but I felt the condiments not as fresh/quality. Just mid. -The patty was thin. I like smash burgers, but felt the cheese overpowered the burger and was like I was eating a bun and cheese with a splash of burger. Get a double and should be perfect. -Bacon-Just skip. I got the bacon burger and it was reminiscent of the microwave store bacon that is super thin. It was crispy though! Overall, it's great to support local and if you are in the area and craving a burger, you should stop by!

My Wife and I have been going to Little Mike's for YEARS. We were probably some of their first customers. My Wife is a burger "connoisseur", and she always says that this place has the best burgers. We've been there so many times, that the waitstaff automatically starts cooking our orders before we even place them. Speaking of the waitstaff: Very friendly and courteous. We've never had, heard, or seen a complaint about them. The place is obviously owned and operated by a conservative, right-wing family. All one has to do is look at all the political messages taped on the walls. And the decor has always been that way. Myself, I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal (I know, I know. "Liberal" is a four-letter word in Oklahoma). But I always looked upon Little Mike's right-wing propaganda wallpaper as humorous, even though I know they take it way more seriously. But lately, my wife and I have had enough of all this Trump stuff being shoved down our throats, when all we want is a good burger; the branding of Trump's name on the hamburger buns was the straw that broke the camel's back. Granted, the branding of the buns, in and of itself, is harmless. But coupled with all the wall propaganda, it all began to leave a bad taste in our mouths. Like I said, they serve great food. But it's a restaurant to serve EVERYBODY. Why would an owner want to alienate part of it's customers? A piece of advice for "Mike": Keep serving your good food, leave your politics out of your burgers, and find another platform with which to place your political soapbox. Until then, your food and atmosphere have gotten too hard to digest. We won't...

don't go here if you're a minority in any way, you will not feel safe, and if you are a cishet republican white man, still don't go here if you want good food.

food was mid for the price (almost $20 after tax for two kids meals, thin burger, grease saturated fries), could've gotten better adult burger combo at braum's for that. buffet with toppings and condiments was kinda crusty too. any points that would go into good service by the employees is rendered null by the underlying politics of the place.

to address the elephant in the room: i think it's a horrible business practice to root it so deeply into politics. it's natural if your political views influence how you run your business, but this place essentially formed wallpaper exclusively of trump and elon musk's face with memes and facebook clickbait level "news headlines" of them, not to mention the memorabilia hung and flashing everywhere, the life size cardboard cutout of trump in the back, the wall of hatemail for mike's politics and love for trump (like that's at all professional and not embarassing for a grown man to do), and the option to burn trump's name on the bun. it's idolatrous and cultish, it's creepy and weird. when he dies and hype for him goes i have no idea how this restaurant is gonna look but i can imagine it will be much nicer, brighter, and more inviting—if it isn't completely out of business. i can only imagine the 4.4 rating and the thing keeping this place afloat is fellow trump worshippers...
