First and foremost, it’s a buffet. Some of the reviews from other websites absolutely demolish it. It’s pretty good. For me, if I can find at least 33% of the hot foods to be good, it’s a good buffet. Like all buffets, you will have some bad things and mediocre items. We started out with the cold shrimp. I peeled a bunch of shrimps and took the mussels out of the shells and plated it so we could eat it all at once. I am a seasoned buffet veteran. Apparently they weren’t down for that with the shrimp. My son and I went back for more and they stated they were out of shrimp. What a bummer. I was about to de-shell about another 2 pounds. 10 minutes later we saw they put more shrimp out. We moved on to the Mongolian grill. Your standard grill. They did have a lot more sauces than other buffets. We did General Tsao sauce with shrimp beef fake crab meat and squid. No rice or noodles. It’s was pretty good. I had Pho. The mixed meat blend. Decent for a buffet. It added variety. Next I had the black pepper and salted fried shrimp. I have had it a real Chinese restaurants and it was very comparable. A+. Mussels in black bean sauce wasn’t bad. Maybe a little too much corn starch with sauce, too thick; it was good still. Crab Rangoon was ok. Egg drop soup, they didn’t make the corn starch slurry properly and it was clumpy. No good. My son got pepperoni pizza and it wasn’t bad at all. Fried chicken was decent. Chinese dim sum pork dumplings and shrimp dumplings were good but not as good during dim sum. However, it is a B+, considering. Pot stickers were good also. I had a grilled steak cooked medium rare. Not the most tender steak, but hey, it’s a buffet. Grade B. I had menudo for the first time in my life. Always wanted to try it. It wasn’t bad tasting. I have nothing to compare it to . I add cilantro and onions. Broth was flavorful and it had beef bones in the soup. I loved it. A+. My son didn’t like pigs feet. Macaroni and cheese was decent. Finally for dessert he liked the Oreo pie. Cheesecake he didn’t like. He destroyed the canned mandarin oranges. Obviously it was good. For whatever that’s worth. I had Chinese egg custard pastry and it was ok. Grade C. Chocolate chip cookies were good, not the greatest . We skipped salad bar, like all buffets I skip that part. Skipped most the Mexican. Skipped sushi. Skipped pasta bar. Basically skipped about 66 to 75% of the buffet. It doesn’t mean it sucked. I just chose and my son chose not to eat it. I had a great server, a High school student was very well mannered and professional and friendly. Shout out to him for bring so kind. I would definitely go back again. At buffets I don’t know what people’s expectations are, thinking they expect great quality. This place you can probably find more than a few things...
Read moreAvoid at all costs if you value your health! My husband and I were in the city today. We decided to give Feast a shot. He had eaten there a few years ago and thought it was excellent. I didn't question it OR read the reviews as I usually do. Mistake #1. We were lead to a booth and seated. As soon as I touched the table top and found it was extremely sticky to the touch, I should have left. We didn't - mistake #2. I picked foods of three different types from three different locations - Chinese, American and Mexican. My first bite (potatoes and gravy) were very cold. I tried the fried zucchini next. Again not just room temperature warm but very cold. I then went on to try the sesame chicken and then chicken fajitas. Each and every one were ice cold. I had to spit out each item as none were edible. We arrived at 11:00 am on Thursday. The establishment opens at 11:00. The food should have been piping hot for the lunch crowd. Not only was the food cold but the chicken was tough and leathery. My husband's choices were equally as inedible. I know there are laws to regulate temperature on warming trays to maintain healthy standards. I personally do not believe that any of those warmer trays were even turned on. I can only hope that the food wasn't the remains of the night before. It was literally THAT disgusting. I called over an employee who said he was a manager. He apologized and said our meal would be taken care of. He was no where to be found when we left and the lady who claimed to be the manager "graciously" gave of 10% for the inconvenience. 10% off a meal that violates health standards is NOT acceptable in my opinion. We paid it - what option did we have but I definitely let my opinion be known. We live 3 hours from OKC and I won't go into detail about the emergency bath room stops we were forced to make on the last half of the trip home. (My husband actually tried to eat some of his garbage and paid for it in the long run.) Anyone even thinking about risking your health and money eating here - read the other reviews. I wish I had. Previous reviews within the last month state that they witnessed employees sweeping the tables with the broom they were sweeping the floor with because it saved them time. A woman picked up a toy her child dropped on the floor to find cockroaches! Protect your health - avoid Feast. I'll be looking to see how to report them to the...
Read moreThis place seats you, but that's pretty much the only thing elite about this place. Our visit is a fine line between 2-3 stars. I usually do not look at reviews before going to a eatery, but decided to view theirs and knew the quality of the food would be hit or miss. We arrived not long after opening but a few of the food items were very dry and inedible, the egg rolls, and the rounded breaded chicken breast with corn inside were inedibly dry, a few other items were a bit dry but still edible.
There's no larger food selection here than say Golden Corral just some of the selections are different. Their ribs were tender and pretty good, I liked the pizza and the asian noodles. In spite of the quality of some selections you can still find enough selections for your palate for the price. They've several asian selections, a few italian selections, a few mexican selections. The salad selection was fresh and a good selection. They have a large selection of deserts, the pies and cakes were not presliced which increases chances of a guest's hand touching a portion they're not getting. There are no gloves available which causes the risk of someone's hand coming in contact with the food and causes the germs of everyone's hands to get on other's hands from the serving utensils. They hadn't been open quite an hour when we got there but there was something sticky on the floor of the serving area. The plates have tons upon tons of scratches and scorching and a few have a large chip missing from the side. The bathroom vanity has rust at the right back corner, the cold knob of the right sink is rusted inoperable, hot water knob of the same sink has low pressure, both sinks have rust around the top edge, the water pressure of the knobs of the left sink are also a bit low. As we were leaving my husband noticed a staff, a old asian guy who seemed to have seniority such as partner or ownership just staring at me and sister in-law, rather creepy, this is what gives 2 stars...
