To start, the play place is not open. The last 2 times we have been, we have gone inside and the play place is closed. Secondly I had to order at the kiosk because no one was at the counter, when I finally ordered I waited at the counter for (no exaggeration) 10 minutes, just for my drink cups while I was acknowledged multiple times. We the receive our food and 2 of the items are missing and so I go back up to the counter and tell them. Now that’s just the food and part of the service but the other part and the atmosphere was horrible they had 1 table, and 3 barstools. (Not spacious at all, I assume that’s in correspondence with the lack of parking spaces.) I have across the country for work and never have a seen a restaurant enforce a customers only bathroom policy. There are 2 men waiting at the counter. One is a Vietnam veteran with his son and grandson who have been there for at least 30 minutes. And another man who had just walked in. The gentleman that had just arrived asked for the bathroom key. To which the employee states “I will get that for you as soon as I’ve handed out all my orders”. Keep in mind that the lobby is full and the drive through is wrapped around the building. 10 minutes go by and the gentleman ask again and now the veteran needs to use the restroom. So they are both waiting and the employee states to the man that he needs to buy something for the key and so the veteran asks for the key. To which they say the same. And the veteran has already eaten his food and has been there he states that he already ordered something and needs to go. They then ask for his receipt and say that they don’t remember him ordering anything, (The son ordered the food) and they tell him that because he didn’t order it they won’t give him the key to the bathroom. So now the gentleman has to order a drink, the veteran has to have his son bring up the receipt all because they don’t let anyone relieve themselves without spending money. The son, my wife, everyone else and I were rightfully angry for making his father/veteran and the other gentleman wait almost 20 minutes just for a key to the bathroom. I wouldn’t go there. They have several people sleeping outside their doors, small parking lots, tiny lobby and HORRIBLE customer...
Read moreI've been here A LOT. I have lived in the area for 19 years and I remember this place before they tore out the old Cadillac that sat out front with characters painted on the windows, and I have almost never had bad service. Then there has been this. It seems that the staff who used to work there all decided they should be payed well for doing a good job and left. Now there are only people who are not even doing the minimum. I got growled at (yes teeth bared growled at) by one of them at the window as he told me to give the order he had mistakenly given me back. I've had onions on a burger that was marked NO SILVER ONIONS (nbd).
And today oh my word today, running late to work pull up to the drive through and wait over the speaker I hear "welcome to mcdonalds, just a minute please" that's fine. Maybe two minutes later "welcome to mcdonalds, just a minute please" you said that already, another two minutes and I get to give my order and pull around expecting to see a long line of cars at the windows but nope, no cars in sight. I pay, the cashier gives me what I felt was a weird look and pull up to get my food. Person at second window is in the mood for baseball and has whoever just made the food throw the bag to him, he misses the bag falls off and the bacon egg and cheese biscuit unravels. Quick thinker here tosses it back to the pitcher throws out the original bag (as if I didn't notice) and swiftly hands me the same egg biscuit in a new bag and new wrapping swearing it did not touch the floor. It was entertaining even if I was a smidge late to work. (Edit) I'm adding an addendum one year later, now they have a gentleman who seems to want myself and everyone else to not stop bugging him. I'm not sure if he or the website is wrong, but the website says all day breakfast and he says no all day breakfast in the most annoyed tone...
Read moreMcDonald’s on nw 23rd & Pennsylvania We rarelyyyy eat fast food & even more rarely eat McDonald’s! My daughter asked for it this day, so I said why not! I had legit ?’s & was trying to see the best way to save & asked ?’s about the pricing breakdown (drive thru), the person on the speaker said they had already cleared their screen & that someone at the 1st window could help me. I legit asked more than 8 x’s the same ?!! He kept answering something that I was not asking. Now some other manager comes & I ask again. She claimed she spoke & comprehended English, but was not understanding my ?! I then saw another manager (now the 3rd person) come up & asked her another 5 X’s, she claimed to understand & comprehend English well. She did not understand my question either! At this point, I just said forget it & just proceeded with my order!!! Pretty sure I was over charged, but whatever!
When I got to the next window - I suggested “you guys should have at least 1 fluent English speaking employee here” This is a common issue here! 3+ yrs I’ve seen it alone!!
The manager Myra (refused to spell her name for me so I’m guessing there) - told me “you come work here”! I said no thanks! She said “then don’t complain” & slammed the window in my face. I needed my condiments so when I waived the window for someone to bring, I ask that managers name. She came storming at the window, literally yelling her name to me! I said how do you spell it? She said oh you figure it out as she angrily did this hand motion as she...
