Tried it and didn’t care for it
The good: The restaurant is nice and modern, nothing amazing but nice. The chips have a really good flavor, prices are very reasonable for Mexican food
The bad. Lots of stuff was bad. Service took forever. Just getting waters rook a long time, then cokes took forever, and when they did show up they were in the can which they leave at the table. That means you have to pay for every refill and when every other Mexican restaurant in okc has free refills, why come here? Even if they offered free refills, leaving the can at the table is just tacky
The food was ok but not great. They used some odd ingredients and flavors where definately off
There is no free queso with the chips, the chips were really good. The table is given a tiny tray of 3 sauces in 3 tiny ramekins to share amongst 4 people. Most restaurants give each person their own serving to avoid germs but not this place. The ramekins were so small we kept having to ask for more, and since the server was non attentive, we went away wanting more
Tables are on the small side. It was hard for all 4 people to fit around the table with food and drinks and chips. Tables are also kinda tightly packed in the dining area
The wait for the bill was horrible. We sat at the table with empty plates for a good 15 minutes before they even offer the bill
Would I go back? Probably not, There are just to many better Mexican restaurants to go to
Would I recommend it? I would say go and see for yourself. You might like it, you might not but it doesn’t hurt to...

Good Afternoon, I just wanted to share a few notes from those in our party from our visit there on Saturday evening 8.2.25. Our appetizers took 25-30 min to hit our table. We ordered guac and queso fundito. The fundito was not hot and therefore we cut it with a knife to be able to serve it. Every single one of our entrees were warm at best, not hot. The beans had a noticeable dried skin layer on top from either being put in the dish too soon or being on the plate too long before being brought out to our table The cheese sauce on the chicken enchilada from the Miguelito was nowhere near liquid and almost hardened on the plate. Once again, all of that entree was nowhere near hot, not even warm. The fajita meat on one entree was so tough that it was sent back to the kitchen. the entree was taken off our bill only after we asked for it to be removed. Why was the manager not sent by our table? Is it lack of training? Do they just not care? Lights were turned up all the way even at dinner service therefore no ambiance while dining. Our server was very kind, but not attentive. Our water was refilled once with appetizers and everyone sat with empty glasses the rest of the meal. Thank you...

Our night was an absolute vibe at Mesero! I went with a group of my girlfriends for a much-needed girls' night out, and wow!! This place did not disappoint.
First of all, let’s talk ambience! Fun, colorful, lively without being too loud. The margaritas? Dangerous in the best way. We tried a few drinks and couldn’t pick a favorite (okay, maybe The Brandon snuck into first place 🔥). The chips and salsa trio hit the table like royalty, and everything we ordered was totally crave-worthy. I’m still dreaming about the airline chicken and FIVE milk cake!!!
But the real MVP of the night was our server, Alex! From the moment we sat down, Alex was an absolute gem. Super friendly, on top of everything, and honestly just felt like part of the crew. He made amazing drink recommendations, kept the energy high, and somehow managed to handle our table of giggling girls like a total pro. We laughed, we sipped, we stuffed our faces, and Alex kept us happy through it all.
If you’re thinking about going to Mesero, just do it. And if you get Alex as your server? Consider yourself lucky; you’re in for a fantastic night.
10/10 would come back! Already planning our next...
