We haven't been here in a year so I wanted to update my review. The burgers are "onion fried" and still tasty, but kinda messy. My burger was hastily assembled so I took a fork and centered the patty and put the tomatoes that fell out of the buns back on the burger. The onion rings are huge and crispy! The fries are plenteous and good but not exceptional. Fountain drinks are refillable. You order at the counter and the service is good and the kitchen fast. The payment screen has the annoying tip option which starts at 20% and I was searching for a reason to tip when there's no table service. I concluded that the kitchen was working hard to get orders out so I tipped anyway. I hope the tips are shared with the kitchen staff as an incentive to assemble sandwiches that don't require reassembly. The corner table we sat at was a " tip-a-roo" as the pedestal feet are not long enough to prevent tipping. My wife put her hands on the table for a little leverage to scoot and the table nearly landed in her lap spilling one drink. I do not remember the small bar next to the register. There's a large sign that says we ID everyone and "some take it as a compliment". I am 75 and take it as an imposition since there's no way I come close to appearing under the age of 21. Usually signs like these mean that management doesn't trust the employees. There is parking next to the restaurant which costs a minimum of $5. Have your...

I've been eyeing coming here since it opened with hearing mostly good thing about it. After today I'm left thoroughly let down. I will grant them that we came at a ridiculously busy time. This was the first work day after Mike Rowe gave his glowing endorsement, so the crowd was large.

The Good: The decor is cool and cowboy hip. The ordering process is fast and easy. The burger price was reasonable-ish.

The Bad: The burger patty is paper thin. I could see through the thing. Reminded me a swiss cheese it was that holey. I had more veggies by far than patty. The patty itself was flavorless and slightly burnt. Not charred, but burnt. The veggies (jalapenos & onions) were in the same boat. Slightly burnt. The fries were flavorless and hardly had a spec of salt. They were pretty spendy though. $5 for a side of fries is not great, considering you can get a burger for the same price. The pace of food leaving the grill was painstakingly slow. We waited almost an hour for food. That is a killer when you consider that the majority of people there are on their lunch break and have an hour total to spend on lunch.

Overall Im disappointed. I'll be back when the crowds die down and I can get a better chance to get a better product. For now I will stay with other nearby establishments that have provided me with a superior...

Sun Cattle Co. is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere sets the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. But let's talk about the star of the show: the number 1 on the menu. Oh. My. Goodness. This isn't just a burger; it's a culinary masterpiece. The perfectly cooked patty, juicy and flavorful, is nestled in a soft, toasted bun. The toppings are fresh, crisp, and expertly balanced, creating a symphony of textures and tastes with every bite. The accompanying fries are equally impressive – crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned to perfection. Every single component of the number 1 is clearly crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. It's evident why Sun Cattle Co. has earned its stellar reputation. This burger alone is worth the visit, and everything else, from the excellent service to the inviting ambiance, simply elevates the entire experience to a five-star level. If you're in Oklahoma City, do yourself a favor and make a beeline for Sun Cattle Co. and order the number 1 – you...

$5 just to park. We were able to get a 2 hour parking spot on the street. Sonic has WAY better burgers for about 1/2 the price. It was $10 for a deluxe cheeseburger add bacon. Super thin flavorless patty barely held together due to its thinness. Super messy…. fell apart after 2 bites. Bacon of poor quality… had some unchewable fat string you had to pick out every time you started chewing a new piece. Onion rings are so obnoxiously large they are inconvenient to eat. Take a bite and your batter slides off your 3 inch onion. Fried pickles and tater rounds were ok. Fee for ranch even with the fried pickles (most restaurants don’t charge for ranch when ordering fried pickles). This is a order at the counter restaurant that asks for tips when you’re paying by card when you yourself go get your own food when your name is called, make your own drinks, etc. 🙄 it’d be like tipping McDonald’s (which you’d be better off going to). They also charge a credit card fee for using a card. Lots of homeless people strolling around. Overrated and overpriced. 👎🏻

With Sun Cattle opening up this week it is safe to say that no matter what type of burger you prefer, you can find it in OKC. This is a strong burger joint with an amazing interior. Country music plays overhead while you look at large scale photos of a cow ranch. The seating is very comfortable and well made. Every detail was made to make this feel like a modern classic burger diner. I got the Big Jack with a side of Chili Cheese Crowns. Washed it all down with a Chocolate Shake. I am stuffed and might need a long nap. The chili is similar to a tasty hot dog chili. The burger is well made with lots of onions and the pickles have a great flavor. This is an order first and find a seat type place. They do serve beer, so if you are looking for an evening haunt this might be your new spot. Enjoy! Went back a second time to try a coney and dessert. And it was also delicious! The Peanut Butter and Jelly Uncrustable is fried and a big scoop of vanilla goes on top. It is something I never knew I needed!
