So, as a proud Kansas native okay, just kidding, Iām definitely not but who knew Kansas had Indian food thatās straight-up winter fire!!! And honestly, itās not just the food that keeps me coming back, itās how seriously they handle feedback. Like, no joke, these guys are on it.
Iām at this food truck twice a week, gave a few tips on some dishes, and BAMāthey crushed it! I swear, they mustāve leveled up into food ninjas overnight.
For all the veggie folks, you need to try the legendary Bezawada punugulu, their magical ginger chai (seriously, how is it so good?), icing ghee karam idly (itās next-level), and Nellore karam dosaāitās like my childhood wrapped in crispy deliciousness. Oh, and the panipuri bomb? Yeah, itās a bomb for a reason! Top it all off with the crazy chitti garelu, and youāre golden.

Read moreI wish I was able to rate the food more than 5 stars. Came here with my mom and we got to dine in at around 6 pm. The staff were very patient with us and were quick to make us our orders. By far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. We got a whole meal for less than 30 bucks which includes appetizers, entrée, and a drink. I will warn those that dont handle spicy well taste it is indeed VERY spicy but it is so addicting that it doesn't matter. If you feel sick defs come here to help with your sinuses. My mom came here while she was feeling bad and she ate some and said she never felt better afterwards. HIGHLY recommend everyone to come and try this place especially if you have never had Indian before.
PS: I recommend trying the plantain thing they have with the fish. It is so soft and divine. The whole experience was...

I recently snagged some of their offerings, and let me just say, if you're looking for an authentic South Indian experience, this is your spot. The dosa I tried was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, though be warned, it does carry a delightful kick ā so if you're sensitive to spice, you might want to ask for it on the milder side. But the real showstopper for me was the ponugulu; these savory fried dumplings were absolutely awesome, light, and full of a delicious, comforting taste. And to top it all off, their tea was simply the best I've had from a food truck, a perfect aromatic end to a fantastic meal. Amruta Vilas on Wheels is definitely worth seeking out for a unique and delicious...
