Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Olathe

I was excited about having an Andy’s so close. I usually always get the get the same thing at each location. Custard with key lime syrup and raspberries. When I first asked for this the male manager gave me a hard time on my order and was very rude about it. But then just made my order. I explained I get this at other locations. Then I went yesterday and ordered it and the same young manager guy came to the window again giving me a hard time, and rude about asking for the key lime syrup with raspberries. He says they don’t normally do that which I again I had to explain that I get this at other locations and I have gotten it here a couple of times. I believe they put it in concrete’s normally. I feel like I am getting harassed and put through it when I go here. I am a paying customer and don’t deserve to be treated this way especially when I am never given a hard time at other locations when I get this. It’s basically a concrete that’s not mixed or a sundae. It is just upsetting to be treated this way especially by a manager who doesn’t seem to have interpersonal skills to communicate in an appropriate manner...

About a week ago I have received an incorrect concrete I called that night and a young man manager was very helpful. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to come back at the time so I called again to make sure it’s okay to come back for my remake treat and once again a very sweet young lady answered the phone. I believe she said her name was Mary. I unfortunately don’t know the young man’s name. She reassured me it’s okay and she was very sweet and polite.

I came to the store not long after the call and I got to see her at the window. I asked her for advice and she gave me really good advice. I appreciate her taking the time to speak to me and not rush me away. It’s hard to find good customer service these days and at this store everyone is so sweet even the crew members, especially that they’re so young. You guys trained everyone so well especially the managers. I hope Mary continues to thrive the way she does and she’s an amazing little girl, she’s such a sweet angel. It was a very unpleasant experience that my husband and some friends experienced today in this place. When they took our order there was a mistake, and for that reason the manager of this store got angry and started speaking badly about us, being aggressive and throwing the ice creams, while the cashier and I talked to correct the order. He approached us and looked at us with an annoyed face. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I am a Latina immigrant and my English is not perfect, and while I was talking to the girl at the register, the manager's look of annoyance and rejection made me very nervous and made it more difficult for me to explain myself. My friends are American and they told me that I had ordered the order correctly and that it was a simple mistake when taking the order. We were very embarrassed by the treatment we received, since there was a line of people waiting and they saw the manager's attitude, so we went to the parking lot to eat our ice creams.
