I ordered my food at about 11:57 PM. The order went through, and it said it would be ready by 12:04 AM. Whataburger is 10 minutes away from my location. I arrived at 12:07 AM and sat in line for 5 minutes, waiting for the person ahead of me to order.
There was one other car in the drive-thru being helped at the window. After the person ahead of me went to the window at 12:12 AM, I waited for about a minute before anyone said anything. He just told me he would be with me in a minute. Another 5 minutes went by before he came back to help me at 12:17 AM. I told him I had an online order.
At this point, I was upset because I was on my lunch break, and it took more than half of my lunch time just waiting to tell them I have an online order, with no heavy traffic! I should mention that I’m 4 months pregnant, which only added to my frustration. When I got to the window, my food was ready but had been sitting for a while, so it was cold! On top of that, there was a lot of mustard on my sandwich, which I did not ask for, making it inedible.
I've never been to this Whataburger before and will never return. I live on the Missouri side, where they operate much more smoothly and efficiently. They also know how to communicate with customers when things are backed up, even offering apologies, which was not done at this location. I have great experiences at every what a burger but this one.

Read moreUpdate: The manager of this location needs to improve the quality of the food! We bought three burgers at the drive thru last night. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a drink. When I unwrapped my burger, a piece of bacon fell out onto my wrapper, so I picked it up and put it in my mouth... Ice cold!!! The burger was nowhere near as good as we used to get in Texas. And the two orders of fries they gave us were old and barely warm. We were eating in the car right next to the store, so I took my wife's fries back inside and asked for fresh, not warmed over fries, which the guy behind the counter did. All three burgers were not very good. The quality of Whataburger is poor now, and this location hasn't been open for a long time yet. My wife and I both said we should have gone to Freddy's or Culver's instead. It would have been closer and much better. Such a shame.
Previous: I still like Whataburger a lot! Not the best burger in the world. But being originally from Texas, it's what I grew up with. They default the burger to mustard, and put good fresh lettuce chunks, fresh tomato slices, and large diced onions with several pickle slices. Today, they had a good amount of salt on the beef patty, which always makes it really good. So, it tasted a lot like what we always remember from Whataburgers in Texas. Overall, very pleased in...
Read moreI never really like making negative reviews and generally I like to be optimistic and understanding about orders taking a while. I work in the food industry and understand the struggle it can be at times, but this was the absolute worst fast food experience of my life. We placed our order at 11:55pm two honey butter biscuits and a Large fry. After waiting 15 minutes I called back to them very nicely to ask how our food was doing only to be ignored. I tried three other times and continued to be ignored. There were maybe five cars that went through the drive through the entire time we were waiting, and they had at least 4 people in the back maybe more, but only 4 were visible. Us and two door dashers waited about 30 minutes for them to even acknowledge us. We didn’t get our food until 12:30am. After mentioning the 35 minute wait very nicely the manager, or at least what looked like the manager, he told me that I should apply and make it myself if I want my food any faster. He didn’t have a name tag or else I would’ve mentioned his name. I strongly encourage whoever the general manager is for this location to look into whoever was leading the Sunday going into Monday night shift and make some changes. I’m writing this just to prevent further instances like this for other customers...
