From Dulcia Combs-Richardson The only reason I'm giving this 1 star is because the manager Cole was discourteous to me. The scenario is: my cousin & I had several orders. We allowed a couple people to go ahead of us. My cousin was ready and put in his order, paid for it, and it was being made. I was on the phone obtaining the remaining orders. SOMEHOW, I got skipped & people behind me were asked for their orders, and had received their good & were obviso obviously ready to pay. I asked the young lady if she was ready for my order and she looked at me surprised. She took my order made my two sandwiches; by the time I was ready to pay for mine, I heard the manager say to the man behind me, "sorry for your wait". My cousin & I were offended. He obviously thought I was holding up the line, when really I was waiting for someone to attend to me. I later asked the manager, "why did you apologize to the man beside me?" his reply was, "because he had to wait". My response was, "I got skipped over. I was in line first and I did not get to put my order in." The man replied "you were on the phone I thought you were with that other person. You should have said something" I said, "no you don't assume that I already ordered I had more orders to give." He then began to talk over me and not wanting to let me finish saying what I was trying to say. I let him know that that was rude and that he should not assume that I was not going to order when I needed to order. He then apologized. This particular manager, (Cole)does not have good customer relations skills as he did not attend to each person in line properly nor did he allow me to explain before he started cutting me off to talk over me. Horrible experience at this Jersey Mike's location. Written by Dulcia...
Read moreLove this place; sandwiches are fantastic. But they kind of dropped the ball today. I'm a member of their birthday club, which sends you a coupon good for a year from the time of your birthday, for a free regular size sandwich and 22 oz drink. That's awesome! But I am not the kind of person who walks out of a place with such amazing sandwiches with just a regular size sandwich and small drink. Now the past two years using my coupon, I've had no issue upgrading to the larger sizes of food and drink; they merely charge me the difference between the sizes. Today, however, the cashier was adamant that I HAD to just get a regular sandwich and small drink or the coupon was no good. Now I'm a member of a lot of restaurant birthday clubs, and I've had zero issues with any of the restaurants being that inflexible on a coupon. This is a first for me.
Today I got the reuben, and I'll tell you that even though the sauce absorbed into a lot of the bread by the time I got back to work, it was still awesome! Corned beef was very lean. Bread, as always, was fresh and delicious. And Jersey Mike's now has these drinks from a place who's name escapes me, but the soda was an agave vanilla cream soda that was very good! I don't drink a lot of soda, but I'll definitely have to check the stores for this particular brand, once I remember...
Read moreWelp I’m having to resort to Google review since I can’t get this location to answer the phone after 5 attempts… I ordered a #7 (turkey provolone) on 2/4, with extra toppings. I went to grab a bite to find that my sandwich had bacon on it. Bacon was NOT one of the selected toppings. I do not eat pork and haven’t for nearly 10 years. I had already taken a bite at this point and am now feeling ill. The bacon was basically embedded into the bread so I didn’t see it! Can this location please make note of this for their employees to slow down when making food. There are food allergies that people have and it’s vital to pay attention to the exact order details provided. I don’t feel safe ordering food from this location again, which is very unfortunate. If you choose to eat here, ALWAYS double check your order and open your sandwich to make sure it doesn’t include extra toppings that you didn’t ask for or may be allergic to!
Also when a customer is coming in to pick uo a sub, it’s okay to say “Hey” or “Welcome in!” If they don’t serve you directly it’s as if you...
