I am furious on how tonight went. We arrived and placed our order. I got water and it took 20 minutes to get refilled. (Separate issue) 25 minutes plus went by and still no food. I’m not sure on the timing and i think our waitress forgot to put our order in or something. The waitress said our food should be out shortly. After that, I’m not sure how much time really went by but enough time that 5 separate tables got food before us despite arriving and ordering after us. Large orders too. We only had 2 people and tables of 4+ were served before us. Someone ordered 6+ wings + sides, which on the menu warn about the wait time. We decided to cut our losses and just ask for the check as we did order a margarita and cheese curds… which the curds were divine. Love garlic. The waitress who clearly didn’t want confrontation handled it wrong. “Wow really, Are you sure you don’t just want me to check up on your food” with a condescending argumentative tone, we said yes 3 times. She then said “well let me just box it up for you.” No, I don’t want the food anymore I want to go home. I’m hungry and angry… she then stated that in order to take the food off that a manager would have to speak to us, which we said fine to. The only thing she was worried about was crediting off the order that we never received. She didn’t bring the manager just took the food off and said she covered the cost of the food for us. Are you kidding! You mean the food we never received. You didn’t cover anything for us… we paid exactly for what we got. I then left her a tip $5.00 on a $11.00 tab, to say we understand that shiznit happens don’t let it ruin your night and you still made money on the table. Nope, as we are leaving she’s talking shiznit about us to the bartender. This is by far the worst peanut location. We love the peanut and live literally down the street. I’m thinking that from now on we will take the extra time to go to the Downtown OP location. On a separate note bring back everything rhymes with orange on tap. To the manager… this night was messed up. I wasted almost 2 hrs on getting dinner and ended up with Taco Bell. Taco Bell apologized on your behalf because they overheard how upset we were. Tonight you gave my wife and I nothing but tears and diarrhea....
Read moreI was looking forward to eating here before church. But I sat down and it didn't take long for the waiter which I was happy about. But after the drinks it took her 10 minutes to come back and take our order. Ordered the kids chicken strips and a medium cooked hamburger and a mimosa, since it was their special. Got the mimosa and it was horrible. Didn't drink it. Took 30 minutes to get our food. Which the fries were half over cooked and some soggy. The chicken strips were cooked. But my hamburger was well done and dry. Would have been a good burger if it would have been done like I asked. Had to ask a different waiter for a water refill and to order a ti go for my fiance who was setting up with the church. Then waited forever and finally got the kids up and started walking to the bar to finally check out and check on my to go order. Asked a manager to check on it. Had to have the fiance come get the kids and I waited some more. Not impressed and not happy at the service. It was not busy and my server was just standing around. What a shame. I WAS going to eat here every Saturday with the other...
Read moreUpdate: Went to eat dine-in there, but apparently they stopped the social distancing every other table thing for COVID, so sent the wife to the car and we placed order for carryout. The one thing that was disappointing was I was restricted to something soft to eat because I just had surgery, so I ordered the mac and cheese dinner, not the kids meal. When they brought out my food they had given me a very small wedge salad even though I had ordered the full dinner wedge, so I needed them to fix that. I also said I had ordered the dinner mac and cheese and didn't see it in the sack. He looks in the sack and pulls out this small cup with a lid and said "Here's your mac and cheese." I opened it, and was not very happy that for almost $10 I got a serving of mac and cheese that would barely fill up my one year old grandson. The Peanut does have good food, but their prices on a lot of items are ridiculously high.
Awesome place to eat! You're gonna wait most evenings, and the front is not designed very well for people on a wait list. But the food...
