Brodie,
Tonight was the highlight of my week. I know the industry can be very demanding. You look after so many patrons, who come with needs unfulfilled, and often the thirst for satisfaction and search for comfort.
It’s a hard thing, keeping your heart open, when it goes unappreciated or overlooked. Often I wander into your establishment to have a beer for my cheer, and hope that I might find a laugh or a smile that expresses so eloquently that beautiful, raw humanity we all cherish and so deeply long to express.
Tonight, Brodie, was that, and so, so much more.
I felt as though you weren’t simply looking after me, but looking at me - a rare experience in our modern world.
I don’t know if it was the way you reheated the billionaire bacon, rescuing it (and us) from flavor bankruptcy..
Or perhaps the way you made a quick stop into a 9-course meal..
Or the way your glitter sparkled, though not so much as your eyes when you laughed nervously.. (we caught you!)
But there was something so pure and perfect about the evening, and I give you full credit for it.
You deserved the tip, and much more (hope they don’t tax you for it.)
I only wish the boxing on TV would have lasted longer so I could have an excuse to have you bring me a 6th tea, hopefully with bigger lemons this time.
Next time my bros and I visit your establishment, I expect you to have a table ready for us, as any other server would be a travesty. (!!)
Thank you again for such friendly and humorous service - you’re going to go far in this wonderful life; don’t take it for granted.
And lastly, sleep well, knowing I did get enough lemons, so I will not be haunting you too much tonight.
Big J
P.S. Remember that forgiveness is not just making it as if you’ve never done wrong, but also as if you’ve done everything right.
P.P.S. Your manager looks a little bit like Bert Kreischer...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Twin peaks, where I was fortunate enough to be served by Liv, a waitress whose professionalism and warmth elevated my dining experience to new heights.
From the moment I sat down, Liv exuded an air of genuine hospitality, greeting me with a warm smile and making me feel instantly welcomed. Her attention to detail was impeccable; she took the time to explain the menu thoroughly, offering insightful recommendations tailored to my preferences.
Throughout the meal, Liv demonstrated an unparalleled level of attentiveness, ensuring that my glass was never empty and that each dish arrived promptly and presented beautifully. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, effortlessly answering any questions I had and providing additional information about the restaurant's culinary philosophy and sourcing practices.
What truly set Liv apart, however, was her ability to connect on a personal level. She engaged in genuine conversation, taking a sincere interest in my dining experience and ensuring that every aspect of my meal exceeded expectations. Her warmth and sincerity were evident in every interaction, leaving me feeling not only satisfied but also valued as a guest.
In addition to her exceptional service, Liv's professionalism and grace under pressure were commendable. Despite a bustling restaurant environment, she remained composed and attentive, never once allowing the quality of service to falter.
Overall, my experience at Twin Peaks was elevated to a truly memorable one thanks to Liv's outstanding service. Her unwavering dedication to providing exceptional hospitality sets a standard that few can match. I wholeheartedly recommend dining at Twin Peaks and experiencing Liv's impeccable...
Read moreWe had a very good dining experience. First of all, this is a "breastaraunt" type sports bar that you would think caters to only men, but you would be wrong. I would guess that the customer ratio was about 60-40 men to women and a couple of families with pre-teen kids (not something I would recommend). Since it's Christmas time, the servers were dressed in Santa-based non-see through lingerie. Our group (two couples) had a variety of food, and it all looked and tasted great. We had pot roast, Hawaiian flatbread pizza, blackened chicken and shrimp, and pulled pork BBQ. After that late lunch, the women went shopping in the neighboring stores while the men stayed at the restaurant. We generously tipped the waitress for occupying the table so long, and we eventually ordered a sampler appetizer to go with our drinks after the women returned. Our waitress made our afternoon great. Cute, welcoming, and friendly, she was all you could hope for in a restaurant server. Many of the other runners and servers interacted with our table as well, despite the restaurant being busy. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, and buss and cleaning staff were visibly active to keep it that way. We sat in an area that can be opened to the outside, but it has clear plastic shades installed, and the temperature was comfortable even on this December day. I recommend Twin Peaks for the "scenic views", but mostly for some excellent food choices at typical prices. Alcoholic drinks increase the bill the most as can be...
