Treats Unleashed — Local services in Olathe

Went there to give our big pup a bath recently, and was honestly impressed with the little self serve rooms they have. We had our own stuff be brought along, but it truly looked like the had the essentials there and ready for you if need be, aprons, towels, simple soaps, scrubbies and brushes, the tub even has a simple leash attachment for the pups who just can't stay still. Tub had more than enough room for our big ol baby, it even looked like it had some stepping paths for smaller pups. Overall everything was clean and had more than enough space for two people and a big dawg. I'd make a joke about the stall "smelling like a wet dog" but I actually don't remember anything smelling unpleasant. (I'll honestly have to take and add some more pictures the next time I'm there) As for the main area oooooooohhh my goodness it's just hog heaven in there. They seem to have lots of options available, and prices are reasonable and fair. Back behind the counter there seemed to be some baking happening, yes I said BAKING. There's a lot of very charming treats being made, not to mention a very large stock of other snacky not-quite-treats stuffs that I'm sure pups of many shapes and sizes would love! Our pup Max isn't huge on treats, but he did receive a cookie that he devoured. So if the picky dog is happy with it that says a lot to me. The wonderful lady at the front desk was awesome and friendly, and you could absolutely tell she'd been around a couple pups in her lifetime. I'm certainly charmed by this cozy shop, and I can totally see why Max is.

This staff was amazing! From the moment my Cocoa and I entered the Treats Unleashed store until we left, every team member was super friendly, exceptionally accommodating, and went above and beyond to provide an experience that will keep us going back. Cocoa needed a bath, and the setup for success is seriously wonderful. One associate guided me to the bath area, provided excellent, detailed instructions regarding how everything worked. There is a step to help the fur babies get into the bath area, along with treats to help convince skeptical pets. My Cocoa was not having any of it, however. He weighs 75 pounds, which is impossible for me to pick up by myself. So I found an associate who helped me get him into the 'tub' - she stayed with me until he was secure. An apron is provided to protect clothing. There are four selections for the type of shampoo and conditioner preferred. Towels are provided, along with something to cover ears - in case the dryer bothers the pet. After drying, a selection of several brushes are provided, in addition to cotton balls and ear cleaner for ears, and a spray for the finishing touch to make their fur smell fantastic. Finally, Cocoa was ready for treats, which he loved. During our check-out time, one team member was happy to 'babysit' Cocoa for me. Cocoa made it impossible for me to peruse the incredible amount of pet supplies and toys, so I will return to see what treasures I can find. The Treats Unleashed staff made our visit great - even with my Cocoa being a bit of a challenge. I highly recommend...

5-Star Experience! For the last couple of years I’ve been going to another nearby DIY dog wash as it was close to my home. I went into Treats Unleashed a few weeks ago while doing errands in the area and picked up some freshly made doggie treats. I saw the DIY washrooms and returned this weekend to try it out for the first time. After making the appointments by phone, got to the store and was immediately greeted and taken into one of the wash rooms. I was blown away! This is the crème de la crème of DIY doggie washes! I loved that we had a room to ourselves, they provided towels (5 for my two dogs), a comb, brush, rubber scrubber, ear cleaner w/cotton balls, tiny treats for the dogs for positive reinforcement, and finishing spray for afterwards. The tub was a large stainless steel (commercial quality) with a side panel that lifted away to give larger dogs access to the tub, a large (lightweight) step stool was provided for larger dogs, and aprons to protect our clothing. I might of missed a thing or two, they really do provide everything you need. The ladies helped me questions I had and really did give terrific service. This is now my new place for...
