Wendy's — Restaurant in Olathe

Oh, of course; the cookies were stale, the drink station for the lemonade was filthy. Most all the tables were dirty. The bathroom scared me! I've seen dirty bathrooms before, but this one was disgusting and worse than filthy. I asked for a CHEF SALAD to go, I sware, no one acted like they knew anything. The new guy, was pleasant and...new. Everyone else acted like chickens with their heads cut off. I had a Strawberry-lemonade that was so sweet I threw it away. I wonder, do those machines get cleaned before a NEW batch is made? The new guys name is Connor...very sweet. I also wonder what would happen is the HEALTH dept. were called....yes, THAT bad. The salad was, lettuce, cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of cheese. Its been a very long time since I'd been at a Wendy's, but what I remember is a super clean store and hand tossed salads, that didn't look like they were from a vending machine. Even to go. I wont be coming back, so keep your "free" food, I don't want it! The bathrooms floor was God alful sticky, looked like there was, at some point, an over flow or perhaps a young one peed. This store is consistently terrible. The food is fine, and custom orders are usually correct (which earns the store an extra star), but the customer service is horrendous.

I went to the drive-thru, with no one else in line. It was several seconds before I was greeted with indiscernable static. I began to place my order and was interrupted and asked to wait. No problem. Then a few seconds later I was asked to order when ready by a different voice. As I began a second time, the first voice yelled at me "I asked you to wait!"

To me, this is unacceptable customer service. I have been working in customer service for well over a decade, and I try to be sensitive when I go out. I understand that people sometimes have a bad day, I can let a lot of things go. If this was a one-time occurrence, I wouldn't think anything of it. The problem I have is that this experience is consistent with my other experiences, and the experiences of friends and family.

It's a shame that my favorite fast food restaurant is so consistently disappointing. I cannot recommend this particular...

01/09/2018 @ 7pm I walked in & there was no one getting a order taken..It took 5min to be acknowledge by a Hispanic girl who was taller than the other Hispanic that I will talk about shortly..She was rude when taking my order & attitude seemed like she wasn't happy with her job..She told me they didn't have salads and they ran out of ALL sauces & last but not least when I asked a question about my meal she turned her back towards me like I was annoying her & mumble somthing while looking over her shoulders..I became fed up & asked the short Hispanic girl who was busy bent over the order counter laughing on the company phone, "Is there a manager I can speak to?" She look up & rolled her eyes & continued her conversation on the phone..Finally the manager came in from outside & I told him the issue & he mildly paid attention, but did go towards the kitchen/fry area to pick up these girl's slack..If I didn't pay with a debit card, I would of asked for a refund & left..Horrible employees & won't return to...
