I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the appalling customer service experience my family and I endured at Bubba's 33. The disrespect and discrimination we encountered at your establishment, particularly from the waiter named Tristan and the acting manager Stephanie, were unacceptable and deeply troubling.
On January 27, 2024 , my family and I visited Bubba's 33 for dinner, looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. However, what unfolded was anything but enjoyable. From the moment we were seated, we were met with neglect and indifference from our assigned waiter, Tristan. Despite taking our drink orders and appetizer selections, Tristan failed to return to our table for over an hour and a half. Throughout this time, despite our efforts to catch his attention, he repeatedly ignored us, leaving us without refills or the appetizers we had ordered.
As the situation deteriorated, I attempted to address our concerns with the acting manager, Stephanie, on three separate occasions. However, each time I requested to speak with her, my inquiries were dismissed, and my concerns were disregarded. It became increasingly evident that both Tristan and Stephanie were treating my family and me with disrespect and disregard, as if our presence and needs were inconsequential.
What transpired next only exacerbated our distress. Instead of acknowledging and rectifying the poor service we had experienced, Stephanie chose to send over another waiter, Darnell, as if his race could somehow mitigate the gravity of the situation. This insensitive and racist act only served to underscore the discriminatory behavior we had been subjected to throughout our time at Bubba's 33.
The fact that Tristan and Stephanie blatantly disregarded our presence and needs while showing preferential treatment to other patrons is not only unacceptable but deeply hurtful. My children and wife were made to feel unwelcome and unimportant, solely based on the color of our skin.
I demand immediate action be taken to address this incident and prevent similar occurrences from happening in the future. It is imperative that all staff members, including Tristan and Stephanie, undergo comprehensive training on diversity, inclusion, and respectful customer service practices. Furthermore, disciplinary measures must be implemented to hold accountable those responsible for perpetuating discrimination and disrespect within your establishment.
I expect a formal apology from Bubba's 33 management for the distress and humiliation inflicted upon my family and me. Additionally, I request assurance that concrete steps will be taken to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons, regardless of race or ethnicity.
Failure to address this matter in a timely and satisfactory manner will compel me to escalate my concerns through appropriate channels and explore further avenues of action.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation and restore our faith in Bubba's 33 as a place that values and respects all...
Read moreI'm so glad I stopped by to try this restaurant. Years ago my wife and I saw this place next to Texas Roadhouse and assumed it was just another sports bar and neither of us cared to try it out. I stopped Saturday, because I'd forgotten our original assumption. Starting with the young man, Derek, at the front door the staff was polite and outgoing. My waitress(and the trainee)was very polite, funny and helpful in helping me picking their most popular menu items. Yes, I'm the guy that ask the wait staff what's popular or what's their specialty before I make my decision on an order. I haven't regretted that decision ever. I ordered Bubba's Nachos. This was a large tray (medium pizza tray sized) of freshly fried tortilla chips with chicken, chorizo, queso, melted cheese, picco de gallo with jalapeño sauce. It was crunchy, the chicken was juicy, the cheese was hot and delicious. I hit that dish like a tsunami! I stopped at eating a quarter of the dish and asked for a take out container, there's a lot of food. This can be an order on its own. I wanted to save room for the main course. The Habanero Burger! Dang! It's a thick boy! This is a single patty burger, cooked medium, topped with their Habanero Heat sauce (it was spicy, not hot), a fried jalapeño/onion blend, a fried jalapeño cream cheese blend with their Bubba sauce lettuce and tomato. WARNING- This is a messy burger to eat BUT IT'S BANGING! This burger fires on all cylinders. It's juicy, savory, the sandwich couldn't get in my mouth quickly enough. I went through a stack of napkins. Definitely not a first date meal. I also had their Layered Fries as a side with my Habanero Burger. This meal was ridiculously huge for what they charge. The fries are seasoned and then covered in queso, cheese, bacon and green onions. Loaded Fries is also one of their appetizers. I'm glad that I ordered them as a side with the meal. I don't usually like French Fries and this was great! I didn't eat half because I knew I would finish. They went into my to go container along with the nachos. The service was very good. The manager came over and asked about the meal. He was very nice and I look forward to coming back based on my treatment. This entire our was $26. I took food home for dinner. Seriously I highly recommend trying out Bubba's 33. I would give a shout out to the manager and waitresses but I'm horrible with remembering names. I only remember the kid at the front door because I made a comment about his name. Sorry guys. They had lots of big screen televisions for your sports watching desire and a beautiful huge bar I barely noticed. I don't watch sports nor...
Read moreFirst and LAST time attempting to eat here. Tried to go Saturday night with 7 people (6 adults and a 2yr old). I arrived at 5:55 and put our name down. Was told 20-30 min wait. When the rest of my family arrived, about 10 mins later, they said they had done call ahead so we took my name off the list, BIG MISTAKE. I received a text after that telling me to gather my party and we were next table. Went to hostess and was told "we removed you from the wait list", so what was that text?! No one had an answer but said we are next. After waiting about 30 mins we asked the hostess (3 of them standing there) how much longer and was told we were the next big party. Great! After a few mins they call and seat a party that had about the same number of guests as our party. When we asked again was told we are next. We proceeded to sit and wait as we watch party after party being sat (mostly groups of 2 and 4) and over heard one of the hostesses talking to another employee bad mouthing a customer. Meanwhile we have now been waiting over 30 mins with a 2 yr old getting crankier by the min. They then proceed to call ANOTHER party same size as ours. At this point we are over it, now there is a manager there and we were told sorry you were never checked in?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. We have been sitting in front of you for the last 30 plus mins and was told twice we were next. If you didn't have us checked in and on the list, how can we be next?! So I guess they just tell you that so you shut up and wait. At this point we left, no one apologized or tried to do anything to make this right but I guess they dont care if they lose business from one party since the restaurant was busy. Funniest part is about a half hour after we left, we got a text saying our table is ready. Obviously they dont have a clue what they are doing. My advise, if you have more then 4 people go somewhere else and dont waste your time here. There are way to many restaurants that will happily...
