First I want to say the three stars is not about the outstanding effort this McDonald's has made during the restricted ability to deliver food to customers because of the pandemic.
With that said their staff is friendly, their orders are usually what you ordered is what you get and they do remember you when you come there twice a day for at least the past six or seven months!
The three stars is because the manager is not seeming to grasp that you cannot use one credit card machine, at window one, constantly and expect it to work all the time. Time and time again people sit in line in their cars not because of waiting for food but because the person at window one cannot get the credit card machine to accept the card for whatever technical reason there is. It is never the card is declined it is just their machine is pathetic. Again this happened this morning I spoke to the manager about it all he said was have a great day. Disappointing that they don't get they should have a machine that is either more durable or it needs cleaned more often or they should alternate the machines since there aren't any other places in that McDonald's that you can place an order.
again, I appreciate the staff, I appreciate the attention to always having good food, but I do not appreciate waiting in line for five or six cars deep while everyone tries to swipe their credit card four to six times to get it to go through. And for the record it is not just my credit card it is many of the cards that are presented if you sit there and observe while waiting in line. Further window two is always a waiting the car from number one window because it has been delayed for rendering payment because of the constant repetitiveness of having to reinsert the credit card.
the other aspect most of us responsible credit card holders really don't care to have happen is our card swiped four to six times to see if it can work, it opens the card up to more fraud potential because of such actions.
To the manager today that told me to have a great day - take your job seriously sir, take the comments from your customer seriously, and don't just placate them by having such redundant words rather he should have say I'll look into that for you and see if there is something that we can do better!
