Charlie's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Olympia

Great place to hang with friends and grab some drinks and a bite to eat. Outdoor smoking patio is covered and large, also has some video games to try your hand at. The staff here is absolutely my favorite part, everyone here is friendly and knows their stuff. The entrance and the patio are both wheelchair accessible which is perfect for when my mom comes out for some drinks. Parking is limited, they have a small lot behind the bar, otherwise it's street parking which can be tough.

I've noticed that it's usually not too busy later in the night, which is exactly what I was looking for. My friends and I will gather here around 9p or 10p and it's quiet and easy to just chat. They do have live music occasionally, and a jukebox that you can control via an app. This means of course that some RANDOM songs get played, usually by me, just to confuse everyone else at the bar.

What a let down. Tried this place out today and nothing lived up to it's rep(according to g maps). Prices are decent but the quality takes a nose dive and the portion is on the smaller size. Sat ourselves, was greeted halfway in. Server met us at the table took drink order and returned about 5 minutes later. Took her so long because she waited at the bar while the tender poured all the beers for another table and talking to another customer. When she got back she brought menus, finally. Asked for beer menu, as they have a lot of beers; nope. She asked what kind I like and named a few. This place need to say least is 80% ipa beers on draft. Order to Burger and fries. Fries were hot and soggy with old oil. Meat on Burger was a joke. Blue cheese tasted old. It was a slow night with only 1 other table with people. Didn't feel included and server gave the bare minimum of the typical...

This place has horrible customer service. Me and a buddy ordered two plates of wings. After we ate our wings the waitress asked us to leave. She stated that if we order more food than we could stay. I told her we are not loitering we are paying customers. I explained to her that's not how you treat your customers. We went there to watch the Seahawks game. Kicked us out. in the middle of the game. They have lost my business for good. I been a loyal customer for 5 years. There was people that just ordered one beer or a cup of coffee. She never asked them to leave. Not sure if she racist or what cause my buddy was black. This is messed up. I would highly recommend pints and quarts better service...
