Cup of Swords Tavern is such a unique place in the best kind of way!! They go out of their way to build an extremely fun events calendar where all are truly welcome and the atmosphere is always jovial and I hear warm laughter every time I'm in there. The owner Lena is friendly and warm and plans wonderful events. You should hear the Scupper Monkeys or any of the other great events!
Plus, the staff is warm and friendly to everyone and you can bring food in and there are QR codes and there's some of the best selection of beverages which is always growing! You should follow Cup of Swords on Instagram so you can stay up to date on the cool news they have! I would be comfortable bringing my Grandma here and anyone else I care about because I'm confident they would be treated well and could have genuine fun! It attracts some really cool people as patrons as well!!
There's even games you can play with your buddies! I could go on and on about how cool and enjoyable this place is! Do yourself a favor and walk in once, I'm fairly confident you'll have a very...
Read moreWe went here on a Saturday night, and it was busy; wouldn't say "packed" but most of the larger tables were full, leaving mostly smaller tables around the edges. This worked out just fine for us, as we were just there for a mini-date night.

The only issue we had was when we asked for a recommendation for a sweet wine, what we got was not anything either of us would call sweet (12 Knights, for reference) so if you like sweet, stick with the mead!
The vibe was great, with good decor, a lively but not overly loud crowd who seemed like regulars and a good selection of board and card games to choose from. The service was prompt and friendly and otherwise stayed out of the way.
We're not much for going out for drinks, but we will definitely be coming back and I would 100% recommend this place to nerds and...
Read moreNo food served here, but you can get it delivered- was greeted, & walked through many different drink offerings by a stellar Norwegian man with Emerald Green Eyes with a captivating enigmatic aura around him. A place where I can literally spend hours, listening to the music, & the bartender talk. Truly memorable, the meads are hard hitting, yet tenderly sweet on the pallet.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the atmosphere is simply fun. Cannot get enough of seeing people dress up in Renaissance faire attire with some personas to match. Wide variety of games to pass some time in between meals, or sober up. Interesting people meet & greet events, I am excited to see where the cup of swords tavern goes...
